Kicking-off Reading Month
The Pancake breakfast was a lot of fun. My mom and dad wanted to go too. They were just playing around with me. We had maple syrup, blueberries and dried cherries. It was in the cafeteria. We did it because of March Reading Month. The pancakes were really good. I didn't want blueberries or dried cherries. It's all about the good state of Michigan. Yesterday we had a pancake breakfast. We had blue berrys on the pancakes. To drink we had milk and apple juice. I had blue berrys and maple syrup on my pancakes. We had the pancake breakfast because were studying Michigan. So we had Michigan products to eat for breakfast. There were also dried Michigan cherrys. ...Devin T. Tuesday we had a pancake breakfast. We had all Michigan products. The Michigan products that we had were Maple syrup, blueberries and dried cherries. It was in the cafeteria. You're probably wondering why. It's March Reading Month! Every morning we have to read till 8:00 to 8:20. We have the State of Michigan. Our class has a car. Every day we read our car travels around Michigan. We sang a song called "Michigan My Michigan". Yesterday we ate pancakes in the cafeteria. We ate pancakes because we were kicking off for March Reading Month. There were dried cherries, maple syrup, blueberries. We are Reading about Michigan. There were a lot of people. I sat at the first grade table. It did not take a long time to get my pancakes. I liked it when we did that. I was having a lot of fun. I had maple syrup. I sat across from Austin. It was free food. I sat by my friends. We sang My Michigan My Michigan. It was so awesome. We had Maple Syrup on the pancakes. ...Alyssan Yesterday the whole elementary had pancakes for breakfast. We also had milk, juice, blueberries, dried cherries and we put maple syrup on our pancakes. We did it to start March Reading Month. The people that didn't eat pancakes had to sit and wait for the rest. If you wanted pancakes you probably shouldn't of at breakfast. I had pancakes with maple syrup, juice, and milk. I really loved the pancakes. The maple syrup was really good. It was also sweet and kind of sugary. The pancakes were kind of soft and delicious. It was Feb. 28th 2006 at school. We had a March Reading month kick off. We had pancakes for breakfast. We had the pancake breakfast for the reading kick off. I liked there pancakes. The toppings you could get are maple syrup, blueberries and dried cherries. We sang a song. The song was called Michigan my Michigan. I had fun at the kick off. Today we had pancakes. I didn't eat them instead I ate a strawberry poptart. It was good. There were so many kinds of topping for the pancakes. There was syrup, blueberries and dried cherries. There was a lot of drinks too. There was apple juice and milk. We did this for March Reading Month. We ate in our cafeteria. You did not half to pay for any of it. I thought it was cool. On Tuesday e had some pancakes and they were good. We could put Maple syrup on them. We also could put on cherries. They gave us apple juice. They also gave us chocolate or white milk. They told us about some things we are going to do in March. They told us that we are going to read a lot in March. Our teacher told us to bring a book to read through march. When we were in the cafeteria we had to sing a song. But we didn't. Some other classes did. They skipd a lot of words. ...Alexis
