Mrs. Catanese's Main Page for 2005-2006

In the elementary library there is a map of Michigan.  The map shows all the classes and how much they are reading.  The map also shows the activities you can do in Michigan.  Some of the activities are swimming, fishing, going to the dunes, seeing the animals of the zoos.  People come from all over the world to hunt and snowmobile.  Also they come to see the Great Lakes that Michigan is surrounded by.  These are some reasons we love Michigan.

Kindergarten Students Show Their Art

The beautiful hand made "Michigan" quilt that hangs at the entrance of the elementary wing was made by a group of 4th graders back in 1998.  Students from Mrs. Campbell's and Mrs. Brown's classroom each designed a piece of the quilt, depicting a Michigan symbol or picture. This quilt is one of two that were made.  Mrs. Campbell received one of the quilts as a gift when she retired.

Mrs. Catanese's class is shown with their lighthouse
