I was out of the classroom today. Tara Miller was my substitute. Tomorrow there is no school due to Good Friday. Have a safe and happy holiday.

Students have done well on their Iowa Tests of Basic Skills (ITBS). They will finish on Monday morning. Please be sure your child is to school on time and has had a good breakfast. You should receive your child’s results before summer vacation.

Next week our science unit is "rocks." We will classify and compare rocks. Your child will need to bring in a special rock for the week. Also students will have homework and spelling words.

The weather has been beautiful. Please continue to send in a spring coat or sweatshirt, hat and gloves with your child. Our morning recess is around 30-40 degrees, but during our afternoon recess the temperature raises to around 60 degrees.
