First Grade Landform Unit

These pictures are from a recent shared first grade landforms unit. The students looked through magazines for landform pictures to use in a collage.

Landforms are sometimes big, long, and small.  Landforms sometimes have a dip in them.  There are more than six landforms.  They are great to see.  Some are very far.  Some are close. – Kyle

Landforms are big.  These things are landforms: rivers, ice caps, lakes, valleys, mountains, oceans, deserts, and plains.  I live by valleys and lakes.  I like landforms.  We need landforms to live.  Without landforms we would die. – Kiara
Landforms are valleys.  Landforms are lakes.  Lakes are fun to swim in.  I like to run on valleys.  They are fun to play tag on. – McKayla Landforms are good.  They help us stay alive.  Landforms are actually small.  The landforms are big too.  Water helps us.  We need water. – Kassidy
