Sloppy Summer

By Mrs. Bennett’s Class

I think this summer is going to be the best summer ever. If it’s not, then at least there won’t be any school. Oh, no! On the last day of school I was getting on the bus to go home. I slipped and fell and broke my arm. I was rushed to the Emergency Room. I thought I was going to lose my arm. Then they  just put a cast on it. Great.  The worst summer is just beginning. Things were starting to get better when mom gave me a bowl of ice cream. I think the flower monster is having good luck now. I don’t really believe in him though. It’s for babies. The ice cream was good. I finished it fast. It was the flower monster. I don’t believe in the flower monster. Soon I got my cast off. I feel better now. That was the worst summer ever.

My Dream Summer

By Mr. Neph’s Class

I’m so happy it’s summertime. I can’t wait to go shopping this summer! I will get a cappuccino and have fun. I want to see Kobe Bryant, he’s my favorite basketball player. This summer will be so much fun. I am also going to the movies. I will probably see the movie Stick It. I will also probably go shopping every weekend at Limited Too, Claire’s, and many other places. My favorite mall is the Mall of America. My favorite store is Pac Sun or maybe Hollister. We buy clothes and other things for the house. I can’t wait to play basketball with my friends. Maybe we could play 21 or maybe we’ll play horse. I will go to Los Angeles to see Kobe Bryant and the other players that play for the Lakers. After I see Kobe I will try to get his autograph. I want to see Kobe Bryant swish a 3 pointer. That would be AWESOME! This summer sounds fun!

A Day At The Beach

By Mrs. Bromley’s Class

One hot, sunny, summer day, I decided to go to the beach. I first put my bathing suit on, and then I went swimming. I decided to build a sand castle, but some big kids came and ran it over. It was destroyed! I went for a walk, and found some rocks. Then I built another sand castle. I used the rocks I had found to build a wall around my sand castle. I figured that would stop the big kids from wrecking my sand castle again. After that, I decided to lie down and get a tan. Then I went fishing and caught five fish. I went fishing, I went canoeing. I paddled until a big wave hit the canoe and it tipped over. I went back to shore and had some lemonade. Then I went back in the water and saw a humongous fish. I ran out of the water because maybe it was a shark! I decided to leave the beach and go get some ice cream. I had Cool Whip and strawberries on top. Then I jogged home and took a nap. I can’t wait to go back to the beach tomorrow.
