Girl Scouts of Onekama School are very active and have been growing strong over the last few years, a lot in part due to the dedicated troop leaders. Onekama School encourages the use of the school for their meetings and continually supports their activities.

This month Girl Scouts of Crooked Tree is donating clothing, household items, toys, etc. to the Goodwill Industries with the drop off site being Onekama Schools. Students were each given a very large bag to fill with items they no longer need. The use of a moving van has been donated to Girl Scouts so that they can pick up the bags of donated items and deliver them to Goodwill in Traverse City.

Onekama students boast a 53% participation in girl scouting including Daisy Scouts through Juniors.
