Candling Our Eggs Kindergarten students began the hatching process in April. They "candled the eggs" to discover which would grow into chicks. Mrs. Schultz' students enjoyed observing the process. |
H a t c h i n g Eggs |
Here we are with Mr. Zupin,
our egg hatching volunteer. Mr. Zupin helps by bringing
eggs and an incubator. He turns the eggs on week-ends
when we have to stay home. Mr. Zupin knows a lot about
eggs. We "candled the eggs" to find which ones would hatch. Not all of the eggs are fertile. We put the good eggs back in the incubator where they will continue to develop. More egg hatching in Kindergarten:
