Ms. Stendel visited Mr. Kudlack's classroom on Tuesday, April 12th to work on Team Building. Having Kindergartner herself, Ms. Stendel, is well aware of how they can struggle with working together. Using the book, The Crayon Box That Talked, Ms. Stendel talked to the children about how when they work together they are able to create a better picture, a team, and a classroom. The class was broken up into groups of three children. Each of the children were only given one color. They were not allowed to trade colors with anyone. Each "team" was to decide on a picture together and draw it. Although there were some bumps in the road, the children proudly showed their artwork at the end. |
