Journaling September 21 We lost our football game! The sabers beat us twenty to eight. The coach said pay attention to the game. Why did they want to win so badly? The coach said we played a good game. September 22 Practice was really hard. I got a new position. Why did the coach switch me? The coach said get in your position. Practice was a blast! September 23 During football practice I got another position! I now play end. Why did he switch me again? I told the coach in the huddle I don’t want to play this position. Football was different than usual. September 24 During football practice we did seven laps! Can you believe it? The coach said run faster. It was very hard work. Football was harder than usual. September 25 We had a football game. We won six to zero! The coach said hang in there team. Why did he say that? I can’t believe we won! September 26 I had Nick over today. We almost beat my game in one hour! Why was it so easy? I said to Nick reset the score because I was losing. We had a lot of fun. September 27 We had football practice again! Can you believe it? Football was easy though. The coach said get in your positions. Football practice was fun. It was also easy. September 28 During Math we had a test. It was easy! Why was it so easy? The teacher then said be quiet. Who was talking? Math was easy today. It was also fun. Journaling September 21 On Tuesday night we went to the crick. I asked if I could take my mom down there? Then dad told me we’re taking the truck. I was excited to see the field cut with his broken collar bone! My dad told me I could take my gocart down there. So that is what we did that night. September 22 On Wednesday night I was doing my homework. I was asking my mom to help me? She told me to put 32 down. So then we went to the garden. There were a lot of green beans! So that’s we did that night. September 23 On Thursday night did my spelling. My mom told me to do dynamite again. I asked how do you spell this word. Mom was surprised that I got a word wrong! That was it for the day. September 24 On Friday we played with the dogs. I would hide and call them. Jasmen went under my legs. I hit the cement hard! Did my bottom feel sore. My dad said are you ok? I said yes that I was. He told me to sit. Soon the pain was gone. That’s all we did that night. September 25 On Saturday we went to my moms cousins wedding. We had to drive one hour and 15 minutes. I asked how much longer? Mom said just a little bit. When we got out of the church we went to the reception. I told mom to dance with me. That is what we did. September 26 On Sunday we went to shop at K-mart. We got Scooby Doo 2. When it was after lunch I asked if we could watch it? He said we could watch. I asked dad how he liked so far? He liked it pretty much. So that is what we did. September 27 On Monday the dogs were playing. They got on the deck. I asked whose gona win? Rocksie pined down Jasimen ten times! Dad said that Jasimen was going at Rocksie’s eyes. That is what me and dad with the dogs. September 28 On Tuesday I got up from bed. My dad said time to get up. I ate my breakfest and got dressed. Then I brushed my teeth. When I was leaving I said good byb! That’s what I did this morning. Journaling September 21 We lost are football game today. How did we louse the game? We were versing Manistee. I played 4 times. It was real hard. I really wish we won. The coach made us lisen. September 22 Today in school it was hard. Then we have foot ball pracktice. We did a lot of tackling. When I got home I went biking.I hit my new jump a lot. I didn’t know if I was going to fall? It was fun. September 23 We had pracktic again, but when I got home I did a lot of biking. Then I checked my minow trap. First I wonderd if I had any thing in it? It was hard going over the logs. Today it was a fun day. September 24 At pracktice the coach made us go to are pasitions a lot. I don’t know what hit me at praktise? Tomorrow we have a game. At diner I ate a lot of food. Then I got real full. It was a boring day. September 25 Today we have a foot ball game! I wondered if we were going to win? The game was real tuff. We won by six points. After the game Tyler came over. We did a lot of hunting. Then my mom told us to go to bed. September 26 Today we got up at six AM! Me and Tyler were in the woods most of the time. We don’t know if we were going to finish the fort. Sone my mom told us to come in. We had a lot of fun. September 27 At school today it was hard.I didn’t know how hard math was going to be? We have a foot ball game tomorrow. We are going to vers Brothern. I realy hope we win!the coach made us practice. September 28 Today we have a math test. It was pretty hard. The easy part was the factorrainbow. I wondered if I did good? Next we had LA! We are wighting the last day of are jornal. I am rightng in it right now That part is fun.The teacher Mrs. Bennet made us right.. Journaling September 21 I went in to my living room grandma was watching a TV show that I would never watch. I asked why she was watching that stupid show? She said because she liked it. About three seconds after that I saw a guy getting tumbled over by a bull! I told her to change the channel to my station she didn’t listen. September 22 At school we had a test for music. I was pretty nervous but after awhile I wasn’t. I asked what instrument I was most fitted for? They said the flute or clarinet. He thought the flute was the best for me. Even though I told him I wanted to play the clarinet but I got the flute. Acctuly the flute ended up to awesome after I got use to it! September 23 My friends and I were out side to day at gym. I told Jaylee, and Lindsay we had pictures to day! I wasn’t sure so I went and asked Mrs. Brown? She said no it was next Thursday. I almost called my mom to tell her to bring my uniform to school. September24 I got to go to Alicia’s house today. It was really fun. Why I was there Jean Alicias mom was running, and screaming when we went for a walk! She was still scared of snakes also the dogs were polling her. I asked why she was so scared? She said because she saw snake in her garage not to long ago. I told her to cam down and she did after a while. September25 Today was pretty boring there was nothing to do. I told mom take us to the beach she said no. I asked why not? She said she didn’t feel like it so I turned on the TV. I caught it just in time. There was a little boy getting hunted down by an old man. September 26 Today we got to go to the park. I beat my mom in a game of basketball. I told her to do a replay she said no. I asked why not? As always she said she was tired. So I went and asked my brother if he wanted to. He said no. I asked him why not he?said because he liked the monkey bars. After that we went to the tippy top of the playground and played tetherball. Why mom was on the monkey bars she fell! I thought it was kind of funny. After that we went home. We had ice cream and watched a movie. September 27 Yay today was going to be fun yet scary. It’s going to be our first basket ball game against Brethern. I had the same question spinning threw my head all day……Are we going to win? During the game when everyone else was in their position and I wiped out! Later Mrs.Brown asked me to go in the game for, Jami so I told Jami she was out. I didn’t know why I went in? It was a blast the score was 10 to 20. Septemer 28 Today I was really nervous during math. We had a math test. I had to ask the teacher how to the factoring thin a lot? I ended up doing pretty good on the test! Even though it was hard. Math was pretty fun today I gusse. Journaling September 21 Tonight we went to my football game. I filled in for Kyle at saftey. He got hurt so coach said sit out a bit. It was really fun! At first I said to myself were do I go? I had a fun time even though we lost 6 to 0. It was also confusing. September 22 Today we went to school it was okay. We had a science test. It was really easy! After school we had football practice. It was for almost three hours. I said why is practice so long? He said because we need to practice for our next game. Then he said get back out on the field. September 23 At school today we took a test on the Indians. It was fun! She said eyes on your own paper to all of us. We were learning about how they hunt and the things they do. After school we had football practice. Will I be safety still? September 24 Today I went to school and Mrs. Brown reminded me to study for my test. We had practice again. I was still saftey! We have a game tomorrow. I wonder if we are going to win. I said to Kyle after the game everyone better know their positoin. September 25 Today I woke up and Nolan called. He wanted to know if I could come over after the game. I told him I’d ask my Mom. I said to Mom, can I go? She said yes. During the game I tackled the quarter-back. He fumbled it and I recovered the ball! When the win is on one side me and Adrian have to switch. One time I didn’t and coach said switch! September 26 Today Luke and me went out with the 410 Shotgun. It was opening duck season at about 9:00. We went to the pond. About 15 ducks flew up Luke shot in the middle. Luke said did I get a duck? Luke said get over there and look, see if we hit one. We had shot one in the wing! Luke carried the gun and I carried the duck back home. September 27 Today I did not go to football practice. My finger hurt to much. It swelled up a lot! When I got home I was bored. My Mom said weed the garden. I said do I have to? September 28 After school today I read a lot in my book. I had to tell my brothers, be quiet. They said, why? I yelled to them, I’m trying to read! We went to my football game also. We won 12 to 6. I didn’t play very much, but I had a lot of fun. Journaling September 21 I had a lot of fun today. School was great! In L.A. I learned I would write a journal. We lost our football game but we still had a lot of fun. Coach wants us to do better next game though. Today was great! I wonder what tomorrow will be like? September 22 Today in SS we had a review for the test tomorrow. In LA we practiced on subjects and predicates. In math we did powers and roots. Football practice went better then I thought it would be. Today was a good day! I want tomorrow to go better. Hopefully? September 23 Today was the big test for SS! In math we did square numbers and powers again. In LA we typed some writing pages we had. We played football in PE today. Football practice today had a lot of running. I want tomorrow’s practice to be better. Today was fun! I wonder how much better tomorrow will be? September 24 Today we got to play on the laptops. I played Sim Theme Park. You haft to run a theme park by build rides. Today I found out I got A on my SS test. We had a spelling test today. I want to see what I got on my spelling test. I wonder what I got on it? I can’t wait for my game tomorrow! Today was great! September 25 Today was our big game! We won 7-0. I played defensive end for four plays. After the game I read quite a bit. After supper I read again Today was a great day! I wonder what tomorrow will be like? Readings fun! September26 Today I had to read at least five hours. I have been reading Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. After I’m done with that I will start Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. After that I’ll probably read the Return of the King. I wonder what I’ll read after that? I want to read Robinson Crusoe. Today was a good reading day! September27 Today I found out I got an A on the spelling test. We started up chapter 2 in the SS book. In LA we started a paper about Saturn and Jupiter. In math we got quite a bit of homework. Tomorrow is first math test. I’m excited about what grade I’ll get! Today was great! September28 Today is our last day we are journaling for LA. I wonder what we will start next time? In math we had our math test. We also had library today I got a Garfield book and a Calvin and Hobbs book. I really like GARFIELD! Mrs.. Brown asked us to be quiet while we take are math test. Today was great!

Journaling September 21 Yesterday I hurt my knee. In the gym today the Ball hit me in the knee . It hit right on my knee and it really hurt! I said try not to kick it right towards me. Emily came up to me and said are you ok? I said yes but it hit me right on my scrape. I hope my knee gets better! September 22 Today I had to try out instruments to see which one I could play for band. The man who was helping said (which instrument do you want to play?) I told him I wanted to play the clarinet. Then he said try to blow really hard! I got to play the clarinet and I’m really happy! September 23 Last night my dogs got sprayed by a skunk.W hen we got home we said dad what is that smell? It really stank! He said the dogs got sprayed by a skunk don’t let them in. We gave them a bath and they don’t stink as much but you can still smell it a little bit. September 24 We went to my mom’s friend Kristen’s birthday party. I gave Kristen the birthday card and she said (did you make this). She really liked it a lot! We went swimming and it was getting alittle dark. My mom said stay with me Louise. The reason she said that was because it was getting hard to see me. We had a really fun time anyway! September 25 I went to Mikalas house and saw her bunnies. I asked her (which one is yours?) She said the one with brown spots. We took it out and it ran away! It ran under the rabbet hutch. She said go to the other side and chach it. In the end we finally got it. September 26 Me my mom and Sophie went shopping for a Halloween costume. We went to an antique shop and I was looking through a basket and then I saw a crocodile head in the basket! At first I did’nt know what it was and I said (mom what is this?) Mom came over to look and she said that is a crocodile head and don’t touch it. September 27 I got a pop that had a fouturn in the cap. It it said Monday will be an especially important day. I said mom do you think it is true? She said (yes I do). She said (you should believe it to.) Nothing happed today though and it was a little bit of a bad day. September 28 This morning my cat got stuck in the coberd under the sink. My mom heard her first. She said what’s that funny noise? Go and see what it is. I did and the cat was stuck in the cobored! I’m glad my mom heard her or mabey know on would’ve and she could have stayed in all day. Journaling September 21 Today I went to the beach. It was really fun! Anna Garboski was there. Does Anna like me? Anna’s little brother said,"Stand back" because he was casting his fishing line. I had a very fun time at the beach. September 22 Why does my sister have to be so stupid? She left her shoe at the apple place! My sister is really dumb. When we got there my dad said" Claire go pick up your shoe." My sister can be really weird sometimes. September 23 What makes the Beatles so great? They’re so awesome! Once John Lennon said "We have a message for the world: BUY MORE BEATLES RECORS! " I love the Beatles. They are really cool! September 24 Today is my moms birthday. It is really cool! At the party I said,"Look over there. Is it a bluebird?" My mom’s party is lots of fun. September 25 Today we had a baby-sitter. She was really fun! She asked us," Do you like your cookies big or small?" Have some cookies. Our baby-sitter was lots of fun. I would like to have her again sometime. September 26 Today Uncle Mark came! He showed me, my mom, my dad, and Claire pictures of Africa. He said," Look at the girls carrying water on their head." We asked him." How heavy are the buckets?" He said about 30 pounds. I am glad he visited us. September 27 Today was a very boring day. Dad worked from 6 A.M., and he’s still not home! It’s 9:25 right now. Will he come home before I go to bed? I’d like to march right up to him and say," Come home before I go to bed." I hope he comes home soon. September 28 This morning was very frazzled. I didn’t want to get out of bed so mom asked me," Are you ever going to get out of bed?" My dad came to see me this morning! Then my mom said," Hurry up and get in the car." My day is always very boring. Journaling September 21 I started basketball on Monday September 13. I can`t what antel are first game! Drible with your left hand. Said one of my friend. It was hard but I got it. What school are we playing agenst? I think we are going to be ok. September 22 Today at basketball I learned off-fents and deafents. Off- fents means are team has the ball and deafents means the other team has the ball. Deafets is hard but fun! My favaret is off-fents. Are we going to win the game? I think we are going to be prity good. My mom said we would have fun. September 23 In scients we portenered up with high schoolers to look in miakerscops. I wonderd who I was going to have? I got to look at a lot of thins that looked weared in the miakerscops. It was veary fun! When it was time to go bake to are classroom my porteners seid to put the miakerscop bake so I did. Hopfuling we can do it agen. September 24 Today was are last day of praktis untill the game. Are we reading for the game? My mom seid we are. I am nerves and exited at the same time! I do not know if we are going to win or lous. Hopfuly we just have fun. September 25 Emily tuck me to the sixth grade basketball game. Where going to win? Then Jaylee got hert. Lindsay said to go with her to see Jaylee. So I did. Jaylee was fine. When the game was over the Onekama six grade won! September 26 Me my mom, dad, brother, and Grandpa picked a couple bushels of tomatows. My dad said to trasfer the tomatows out of the buket into the bascet. How meany bushels did we pick? It didn`t tack vary long. My mom is going to can some and I love caning! It was fun to pick the tomatows. September 27 Our team had a bascktball game today. It was about an hour. When I was driboling I travaled. So the ref said to give the ball to him ,and I did. Are we going to win? At the end we lost! Any way we had fun! September 28 At school in science we are learning about inheitance. It is interesty. The teacher said to be prepared any day for a pop quiz. Am I prepared for a pop quiz? I hope I am. I will read the chapter tonight. Journaling September 21 For the girls Varsity game Tuesday night Taylor Bennett came over. Taylor was pulling on my shirt and I said "Stop" and he stopped. We won the game how great is that! Why did the J.V lose they were doing so good? This is what I did on Tuesday. September 22 On Wednesday I went to see Jennica’s house I thought it was pretty so far I said wow! She was getting her flouring in soon and I said you better be. Jennica has lots of bathrooms, downstairs, upstairs where her room is, a guest, her moms and dads room, and a kitchen, and a laundry room. I thought it was great. I’ve never been up to a house so big. September 23 On Thursday the J.V and Varsity were playing Bear Lake and we won! I played outside with Lindsay, Kyle, Brandon, and Scott. Sometimes my mom makes me be manager and says Go be manager not as nice as you think. When I got in the game was over and I said to myself I did not know the game was over? I knew it was over because people were leaving. September 24 On Friday I was so exited about Taylor coming over. I wanted to know what we were going to do the whole time. How was I suppose to know what we were going to do though. I always say to myself why is Taylor is always so crasy when his parents picks him up I don’t know why? September 25 On Saturday I had a game We won 28 to zip! We played Free Soil I said they won’t win because I had a feeling in my stomec. I felt sorry for them why because they didn’t make a single basket the whole game? When we won I was so exited that I siad boya! Most of the people on the other team were mad. September 26 On Sunday we went to the beach with some of our best friends I didn’t know what to play? One thing that was the best was jumping of the pier I faced my fear! After the beach the grownups went to Topo’s and I stayed at Lindsay’s house. When I left Lindsay’s house I said take me home quick. This is what I did on Sunday. September 27 On Monday we played Brethern and at Brethern so did the fifth grades. The fifth graders lost but we won threrty to eight! When I got home we had to drop of some people. I’m glad we have basketball or else I would not play anything to do on those days. I had to do my Journaling and I said in my mine give me something to eat because I was hungry. September 28 On Tusday I went to school. I remembered we had a Math test! When I got in the classroom my mom said be quiet and listen. Then we were going to L.A and I siad I wonder what we are doing today? In L.A it was fun. Then we went outside for recess that was even funner then it was lunch it was boring. Journaling September 21 Today I got out of school early to go to a dentist apointment. I told my mom I’m going first, and I did. Thankfuly I didn’t get any cavities. While we were in the car on the way back I was so bored! I asked where are we going to eat? Then we decided together and ate at Taco Bell. September 22 Today I went to school and did tons of work! Then I went home and watched some TV. Then I asked said dad can I go and drive on the golf cart? He said I could so I went to get it. Then I came back and said dad im going to drive on the beach with the golf cart. It was great!! Then I came home and played basket ball in my back yard. I had a pretty fun day. September 23 Today I went over to camp and saw some friends of mine Devan and Brian. I said to them how long are you guys staying here? Devan said for the rest of the week. Then Brian said for the winter. Then I said your staying for the rest of the winter to Devan. Then she said she couldn’t because she had to get back to school. A little bit latter I went and played some basketball over at camp. September 24 Today I woke up and could barely get out of bed. I took a shower and it felt great! At school we had a S.S. test. I said is the test easy? And she said it is easy if you listened good. It was pretty easy though. Then at the end of S.S she said turnin your paper right away. The worst part of the test was writing the paragraph. September 25 Today I got back from school and got ready for my first basketball game! Before I left to the game I went out and practiced with my dad. On the way to the game I had millions of butterflys. While I was playing I made about four points. I had a great time! Even though we lost the game our team did great!!! Then I told my dad were going to win the next game. I asked my dad "how many pictures did you take? But he only said a few. September 26 Today I went to church. I was so bored during the long long sermen! Then I said I’m going to Alissa and Brandys house so I did. Alissa and brandy are my good friends from church. I always have the best time with them. At there house we went to down town Manistie . There we saw a huge boat! Then I asked them "what kind of boat is that"? They said it was a freighter. I had a really great day. September 27 Today I got to school and was so tired as usual. At school I did tons of work and had some hard homework! Then I got home and watched TV. Also I went outside and did some tricks with my dog. Then I went back inside and said Jon get out of my room. He did then I went in and listened to some music. A little bit latter I asked what are we having for dinner? Then she said taco salad. Yes it was taco salad! My favorite food in the world including tuna casarole and shepperds pie. September 28 Today I went to school and was so bored! When I got home it got a lot better, I went and saw some of my friends from camp and stole all their candy. Then I said dad I"m going to drive on the golf cart bye. I drove around a while and then went inside. Then I asked mom can we go to the grocery store? I said we have no food at all. So we went. It was pretty fun we got a lot of food. Then we had dinner watched some TV and went to bed.
