The Thirty Day Flood

I was in my mom’s car listening to the radio and they said were having a thirty day flood. I went back in the house and I was growing gills! I told my mom and dad, and they had gills too. I was amazed but I new it would be awful.

The flood came on November 1 on Monday. It was nine feet deep, and it was hard to swim. On November2 the water grew nineteen feet deep. We could barly swim, but my mom could swim better than we could. On November 3 we all swam to my grandpas house to visit. On November 30 the water started to go down. Are gills started to disappear. The thirty day flood was over.

Today I was in a car and I was listening to the radio they said there is going to be a 30 day flood. So we moved to Africa. In Africa they said the flood is a round the world. It was November 1 when the rain came down. It was November 2 when we took out are boat out and drove to Mount Everest. It is really high so we can live. The water can’t come up that high. Finally the rain stopped. We drove home slowly.

On the news one night I heard we were going to have a flood. It was going to be thirty feet deep and a thirty days. It was because of the whales licking the glaciers and their tongues were so warm they melted the glaciers. I thought it sounded cool but my mom was freaking out like a parrot. We lived in California and it was always hot out and it never flooded where we live. So my brother and me were getting things ready we got the food ready and the water ready. My brother and me were so excited , we had a spell and we could do everything we wanted to. It was like we were witches with magical spells we can do. One thing we couldn’t do was make a raft or an ark someone else would have to do it for us. Then it was November that darn flood day that will rewen our life, well every body elses life. So we put some spells on animals two of a kind so they could live in the water. We would give them gills. So we did that and when the flood was over we started our real life over again.

Today I woke up and turned on the news and heard the horrible news that a flood was coming November 1. The people on the news said that it would last for about 30 days. Then they said it was happening because all the polar ice caps were melting into water! We started packing. We packed air tanks, food, clean water, and a house dome for shelter. It’s called a house dome because our house is inside of it. How it works is first you fill it up with tons of air. Then you put up the long, long tube that reaches to the top of the water. Then fresh air can flow in and take out the bad air. Then we also packed everlasting air tanks just in case we want to get out of the dome to see if any one else had a dome or a submarine or even if someone grew gills. Then it started to rain and rain. On the 20th day I went out, and went to some of my friend’s domes and we swam around. It was the twenty- ninth day and the water was twenty-nine feet high! The flood was almost over. Then on the 30 of November the flood was over. The ice caps began freezing from the cold weather. Then everybody took off their domes over their houses and went inside their house. Then the next day on the news it said that nobody got hurt and everybody and everything had adapted to the change. We were all glad nobody got hurt even though our dog still had gills.

I was watching T.V when a special alert screen popped up it said there was going to be a 30 day flood. I was scared at first but after awhile I calmed down. They didn’t say why but it had been raining a lot all over the world the oceans were full and the ground was soaked. I think that when it starts to rain again it will make a flood. On November first it started to rain by the end of the day it was five feet up. The next day we woke up and it was eleven fieght up. We had to go to the store in a boat. Next we got food water and flash lights because the power was out. After that we raised our house up on stilts. It was cold and damp we had to keep the animals inside.

We found a huge cruise ship and put our house on it. We got on and took our fishingpoles with us. It started raining. Soon the water was a mile high. We started fishing. We caught 200 fish. That was enough to last us the whole time. When it dried up we put it into its place. We lived happily ever after.

I woke up one morning and army men were out side my door. My mom and my dad went to talk to them. They said that on November 1 there was going to be a 30-day flood. I wanted to find out why so I followed them. I heard them talking that Giant Electric Eels where melting the polar ice cap. They said we should pack a lot of food, air, clean water and stuff from home. I went home and told my mom and dad everything. They freaked out and started running around. Then I made them stop and start packing .I was so happy because there was no school for 30 days. My mom, my dad, and I where going to Mt. Everest, a really high place, to see if we can be higher then the water .It was 30 foot by the time we got up to the top of Mt. Everest. After that it was 100 foot high. In the morning it was to the top of the mountain. I was worried then I realized that it was not getting any higher. So I jumped in and I started growing gills. It turned out that the water had toxic chemicals in it. After 30 days of waiting the water returned to normal level. Then we returned home and lived happily ever after.

On Wednesday we were listening to the radio. They said there was a thirty-day storm coming. It would flood the whole earth. We had to prepare.

First we built a big submarine and got food, clean water, and air. For warmth we had a nice cozy heater.

Next we went into the lake. It was already 5 feet deep on land. Later we were listening to the radio again. They said the world was 13 feet under water. Later that day we made a check if every thing was there. Our animals were there and everything else was there. After we had to fish for dinner. The next day we had fish again for breakfast. Finally the water dries up.

Today my teacher told me that there was going to be a thirty-day flood for the month of November. It was because the water level was rising because there were more fish and they took up more space. There was 12 days till the flood, so my parents hired a plastic maker to make a big dome out of plastic with a roof on top so rain couldn’t get in and we could breath. Then they told the plastic maker to put the plastic dome 30 feet into the ground so we couldn’t get wet. Then we had to stock up on food because the dome only went over our house and not over the whole world. We bought five chickens, 15 boxes of macaroni and lots of other stuff.

This morning I tuned on the news and the weatherman said there was a 30 day flood on November 1-30^th. People asked why. I don’t now. All I know you should get ready. If I were you I would buy a boat, fishing poles, ever lasting air tanks, and try to grow gills. I told my mom and she could not go to work. She’s crazy to want to go to work. I was happy that I did not have school. My sister is mad because she is not going to school. She is crazy. I had whale for diner It was good. My dad shot the whale.

I turned on the news and heard there was going to be a flood. Immediately I screamed with joy. Mom and Dad said what’s the matter? I said there was going to be a flood. They also screamed but not with joy. They panicked. I said to Mom, "Maybe it’s because the polar ice caps melted."
They said, "that’s silly".
I said, "you never know".
They then said, "don’t be stupid".
I said, "why not"?
They couldn’t come up with an answer. My parents asked how will we survive?
I said, "that’s easy".
They said, "how"?
I then said, "Let’s lock up the doors."
They said, "You’re getting stupid again."
I then said, "Let’s" grow gills"! Almost immediately, we grew gills. Right when we grew gills the flood came. It scared my parents. Again I screamed with joy. We then began to fish. They used me as bait. We caught 78 pirhana and 56 sharks. I was having a lot of fun. After the flood was done I said I hope we have another flood. It would be very fun!

I woke up one day and the president knocked on my door. My mom answered it. The president said, "On November 1^st the world will be flooded for 30 days. It will be caused by the Polar ice caps melting." Then the president left.

I was so excited! I could not wait. Then I started wondering what we would need. The things we need are air, food, fresh water, and shelter. You also need oxygen.

When it started, my dad, mom and I tried to grow gills. We were able to get gills. We could talk to fish and they told us they flooded the world to get back at us for fishing. We said we were sorry. Now we knew how it was to be a fish.

After that we got every body in the world to drink the water. Then we had to leave some for the fish. After that I went back home and went to bed. When I woke up the news was on and it said," The flood is now over thanks to Austin C.". Then I was so happy I could eat a cow.

Building an Ark

This afternoon I called Erin. She said, "There is going to be a flood"! Then my family and Erin’s family began a plan. Our plan was to build a big ark. Then we would put two of every kind of animal inside. We thought the whole world was littering, so God gave us a punishment.

In ten days we built the ark. In another four days all the animals were in the ark. In two days we got our belongings in the house part of the ark Erin and I wanted to bring everything. In two more days the flood stated. The next morning when I woke up I wondered did that really happen? Was there really a flood? No, there couldn’t be a flood. Then I heard an animal noise. I was on the ark!!!

Today I came to class and my 5^th teacher Mrs. Eldridge . She told us we were going to have a 30 day flood. It freaked me out. So when I go home I will get ready for November 1^st-30^th. We will all be so safe in our new house. Hopefully it will not kill any of our animals at our house. We will proubly all grow gills and become fish, and be swimming in cold water. All the water will be ice so then we can call Michigan ice land.

One day at school my teacher told my class there was going to be a thirty-day flood! Everyone began to panic, except me the super strong 5^th grader. Everyone came to me to know what we were going to do. I said "we will go get my uncles boat." We will have the catch the crazy fish that were trying to get back at us for eating their families. So my whole class went and got on my uncle’s boat and we caught the crazy fish but it wasn’t them. When we got back to school our teacher told us to grow gills so we can breath under water. After we grew our gills by drinking a magic potion. We were almost ready for the flood. We got money out of our bank accounts so we could buy a submarine. We got some food for the flood and we were ready for the flood to come.

Today I found out about a flood that was going to last 30 days on the news today. So I told all of my friends my friend's names are Derek, Cody, Tanner, Adrian, and Kyle. Then we thought of why this was going to happening. We thought of many different ways. Like if god was punishing us. And what he was going to do next. We also thought if he was challenging us to see if we could survive. Then we got ready we got some of the equipment. Some of the equipment is tubes, food, bottled water, boats, tents, and a whole bunch of other things. Then it came the flood came for 30 days but we were ready so we were fine.

Shocking News

On the radio this morning I received the shocking news that a flood was coming. The North Pole ice caps were melting. Starting November 1 there would be a flood. It will go on until November 30. The equator has been moving around lately says scientist Garfield. He says there’s a 200 feet long worm pulling the equator around. A lot of people were surprised at this news. I plan on building a submarine. I would put 2 of every kind of animal on it. I would put enough food and air for 30 days. That is how I would adapt to a thirty-day flood.

Nuclear Explosion Causes Flood, but we Adapt

Today the weatherman talked about a 30-day flood because the government set off a nuclear explosion in the oceans! It was going to start November 1^st and end November 30^th .To survive we went inside a giant house and went to the top floor. There was plenty of food and drinks for everyone in the building. First we barricaded the door. Next we locked the windows. Later we could only see water by the windows. After that we fish were swimming outside the windows. The next day we learned to adapt to this cruddy flood by putting cement boots on so we could walk to the super market. We had to have big air tanks too. We used seashells as money also. Finally the water evaporated into the clouds and the water went down. The next day the water was down and they went outside and did as much out door activities as possible.

The flood begins. I found this out by watching the news. I think it is for punishment. When I woke up this morning I went down stairs I and grabbed the box of cereal on the counter. I walked in to the living room and turned on the TV. I started to watch what was on (the news). I then called my mom and dad and said, "There is going to be a 30 day flood!" We called our family and friends and started to pack our bags. I was scared but exsided at the same time! Everybody helped make a huge ark. To survive we needed fresh water, air, food, and shelter. We would need to bring 2 of each animal. We would also need to bring worms for fishing, blankets, stalls, furs, beds, games, and books! I thought in my head" This may be hard but think of all the people young and old. And all the animals! It will be an adventure and all the fish I will see!" This will be fun!

Tsunami Strikes

This morning I figured out that there was going to be a flood. I figured it out by the news team. When I figured that out it felt like Christmas. Then I wondered why it was going to happen. I learned the reason was because the fish wanted to get back at us. They would do it by waving their tails and causing a tsunami. I was excited!

First, to live we would need a lot of stuff. The things we would need are food shelter fresh water and millions of toys and air. We would need a big mansion that can float. The mansion would sink unless you start it on fire. We could have bubles filled with air to move around. That’s what we could do.

Now the flood started. The tsunami washed us up. The floating mansion came and we got on it. The mansion turned out exactly as I planned.

In the morning I turned the television on, and saw the news. It said there is going to be a flood! I was shocked! I told everyone I could find including my family. Then I was thinking why is there going to be a flood? I heard the news sill on. It said that the polar ice caps have melted! My family started planing. We got everything we need. We have air, food, clean water, and shelter. Are shelter is a big submarine! Since I love swimming it will be sorta fun. My family has plenty of food and clean water. Everyone will adapt by getting used to living in a submarine. It is like a new house, but we are under water. Evenchily all of the water soaked in the ground. Everyone fixed there houses and no one forgot the flood that lasted for 30 days.

The Flood is Coming

I turned on the morning news. I started to flick the channel when I heard……… there was going to be a flood! I called the news reporters and asked when we were going to have the flood? They said it was going to start November1st to Desember1st. The flood was only four weeks from now!

Two days later news reporters were knocking on my front door, asking what I thought about this, and why? I thought it was scary yet awesome. Why, I have no idea. Some people say to punish us, some say to force us to work together.

I thought so the flood could wipe out the bad. Of course I would think that I’m only 10 years old. I called my brother Ryan. He said I was crazy. So I hung up on him and called Lindsay. Lindsay is one of my best friends. She lives next door. She seemed surprised when I told her. I think she thinks this is one of my pranks again I love doing pranks. I’m not joking I told her. Will you just listen to me for once. She hung up on me, so I called my parents. They are up in Traverse City helping my sister find a college. When I told them they thought I was joking. I told my mom and dad to look on the news. They saw the warning and said they’d get my sister and come home. I tried to call my friend again but her line was busy.

I started packing the things we would need: food, clothes, drinks and other things. Finally an hour later my mom and dad were home. They started to pack their belongings so we could head out. I told mom we could go in a submarine but she said that was silly. Mom and dad had no other good plan. So we went to Franks and bought a submarine. He has about thirty of them. The next day was awesome: we saw whales, fish and other amazing things. Next we saw eight of my friends in a submarine. This whole flood thing turned out to be okay. 30 days later I was back on land watching mom and dad build our house again. Some of my friends ending up turning in to a mermaid and stayed in the water.

A Giant Raft

November 1 there was going to be a 30 day flood. It was going to happen because all the polar ice caps melted. I found out by watching the news. It wasn’t raining for a couple of months so the sun got really hot and they started and the ice caps started melting. My best friend Cody and I had to find out a way to survive. We got a giant raft and a whole bunch of food, and plants, and more plants. We started making a house on the raft before the flood got to us. We got some cows from a farmer. He said he didn’t need them any more.

My friend was just about done when we saw a giant flood coming! So we got ready real quick and we just got done. When the flood hit the raft it really shook us up. It was like big wack. In just a couple minutes we were on a lot of water. So we were stranded. We started up the motor on the raft and then we headed for Washington D.C. Every where we went there just about nothing but a couple of house tops. Only the big house tops. Lukely we had 8 extra gas tanks. On the way we gatherd some wood from some tall trees. We had a big motor that uses wood. So we stared using that one in stead. We wanted to save the fuel. We saw some people on some big and small boats. When we got to Washington D.C. We saw the White House. It looked weird.

A little more than half of it was coverd in water. We went over by it. We tried to get on top of it but it was really slipery. But we maniged it. We tied up are raft to couple poles on the building. We brang up some plants from are raft and put them on the roof top. We picked some ornages from are tree and some cherry tomates. We ate them really fast because we were starving. So went to see if there were many survivers. We like 10 people rowing some boat and canoes. We asked them of they wanted to goin us. They said yes. They only had a couple loafs of bread and some cans of beans. So we took his suplies and boat on board are raft. We used the small boat for an life boat. There was only 10 more days of the flood. We going to go out of food soon. So we went fishing. We used some dried fish that was small as minnow. We caght bass then we used that for bait. Then we cought some pike. We ate some of them them we used the rest for bait. Then after that we caught some sharks. hey were good eaten. Lukly we had some butter left so we can use on with the sharks. Then that was the best. There was only 2 days left.

Some the water was gone but not all of it. We picked up some people that were on some boats they were starving because they had no food.then the flood was over. We were so happy that the flood was over. We brang home the people and we went home.

It had big tubes to make it float. We saw giant fish. The fish started to take over the world. The fish were over populating. This one person tried fishing and got pulled in. We had to help him up. The fish got real angry and tried to sink the mansion, but then batman came and tried to save the day. It didn’t work out the best. We had to help him out. All the super heros tried but didn’t succed. Sone we turned in to muints and saved the erth thanks to Nolan's plan.

Today my dad was watching the news and he screamed! M my whole family came running and then we saw it in big red words flood November 1-30. We rushed out side and saw the dark clouds coming, so we got our things that we would need. We got all of our pets in the cages and put the things in the boat, and took off. Then the rain started pouring down on us after 10 minutes the rain was over the house! My sister thought it had flooded because God was tacking a shower. After one day she said he must be tacking a really long one. There are 4 people, 3 cats and 1 dog in the boat. We brought 5 coats each 10 blankets, 10 gallons of water 30 pears and 20 pounds of meat.

Today we saw on the news that a flood was going to happen! It was going to be thirty feet deep and thirty feet long. We had to think fast. It was going to flood the whole world! We would need air, food, clean water, and shelter. For air we used everlasting air tanks. For food we found old spear guns in an old farm that had been burned down. When I first heard about it I was happy. Then when I heard about 30 days… I knew it was going to be awesome! No school for thirty days, it was going to be the best month of my life.

The first day the flood started was fun. We shot three whales. It didn’t take long. We thought we had enough for thirty days. The fourth day it got hot. The water was about 60’ degrees out. It was warm, at least for water it was. After the fourth day we ate the rest of the whale. On the fifth day we went out to get more food. We went under and when we came up we had 2 whales and 8 swordfish on the metal stringer. After the first couple weeks we saw land. We were happy because we felt sick we were on the boat so long. When we got there we found out it was not land. We were mad. On the last week we were down to the last whale. So we finished it. We would go the next couple days with only little food. When the flood was done there was a drought. I;m not even going to start that.

Everybody Lived Happy Ever After

One day I decided to ride on sunny to Sean’s house. I was about half way to Sean’s house when I herd something. It was Yugi Sean’s horse. After I caught Sean’s horse I went to find Sean. He came out of the house screaming. I asked him what was rough he said that the whole world was going to be completely under water by a flood! All of Sean’s family was gone, so it was just Sean, his horse, my horse, and I. So Sean and I got the some things ready like food, clean water a small rift with no air in it. We could not find any air tanks so we left. Five minutes later a huge wave was on tope of our horse and us or so we though. That was the beginning of an adventure we would never forget. We started to struggle for air when we realized we did not need any we were merman! Soon we saw Nolen riding a seahorse he was a mer man to we turned around and our horse were seahorse to. Soon after Sean past out. I asked Nolen what was going on he said that God is punish us for being bad. We went down to Atlantis where we found parents and families. Then in a month we turned back in to back to normal every body lived happy ever after.

This morning I turned the news on I heard the weatherman say there is going to be a flood, so you better start thinking about what you’re going to do when the flood comes.

We called the weatherman and asked, "Why is there going to be a flood?"

He said, "It is to punish you guys for always fighting."

Then after the weatherman said that’s why it is about to flood. Then we thought of a plan. Next the weatherman said, "I was only joking with you guys."

Then I woke up and realized I was dreaming. Then my mom came in the room and said honey get up your going to be late for school I told my best friend about my dream she said I had that same dream I asked if she heard it from the weatherman. I said I did to this is too weird she said. "Maybe we should see if any body else had the same dream. I said we should. I agreed.

One day I was watching T.V when the weatherman said, "There was going to be a flood".

Then I started to think, "Is this a punishment?"

So my family and I started to make a plan. Finally I figured out if we work together, we could survive. Then I asked, "What do we need to survive?

" My mom said, "First, we need to get clean water, food, air, and shelter. Then I thought this could be for the war in Iraq. So I went to go watch T.V again and they still were talking about the flood. Then I told my family to come here for a moment. They started to look worried and I then I started to cry.

Then my mom said "come into the kitchen again". So we all went back into the kitchen and we talked about what we were going to do about this. A last I had an idea. The idea was to build a boat. So I went to my room and started to draw a blueprint of what the boat would look like. Finally I finished the blueprint and went to show my mom and dad.

Then it started to rain. Then I went to the living room and they were watching TV and at the bottom of the screen there was a flood watch on TV.

One day I was sitting on my coach then when I turned on the news. The news said we’re going to have a flood. It’s going to be on November first and it’s going to last the whole month. The water will be thirty feet high. How are we going to survive I asked myself. We will need air, food, and clean water and shelter. It probably happened of the polar ice caps all melted. We could grow into a fish then we could swim under water. Then we would not have to come up for air and we could breath under water. A flood is going to cover the world. It will be fun. We won’t have any school for a month. Just as I said that the flood came. Quickly I hurried and looked for something to float on. Then I went up for air so I could breath. I looked for some food to eat, and I found some. Next I tried to make a raft so I could float on it. Then I saw a fish so I took my fishing pole and I caught it. I ate a raw fish. Then a big title wave came and I never lived again.
