Magoon Creek

We went to Magoon Creek today. We learned how to plant a tree correctly. The first step to plant a baby tree is you have to prune the roots so they are the length of the shovel. Next you have to dig a hole with the tree shove. Then you put the tree in the hole but make sure the roots are mostly straight. Later you put the tree shovel behind the tree and wiggle it. Finally you tug on the tree to see if it is stable. I thought it was pretty cool. We got a little tree to take home and plant. ..Emily C.B.
