Good-by Falcon Summary

One day in Puerto Rico a man and his friend were driving down the road. A boy with falcon chicks came up to the man and asked him if he wanted one. The man took one home and put it in a cage. The bird grew and the man put it in a cage outside. One day the man saw that the falcon was sad. The man decided to let the falcon free. After the falcon was set free he came back because he did not know how to hunt. Soon the falcon came back less and less. One day the man saw the falcon with another falcon. He had found a mate and she was teaching him how to hunt. After a while the falcon only came back once a day. The man knew that the falcon was trying to say good-by. One day the falcon didn’t come back. Then the man knew the falcon was saying good-by and now he was gone.

A boy was selling two baby falcons in Barranquitas, Puerto Rico. Another boy bought both of them. He gave one to his friend. The boy came home. He put the tiny falcon in a small wire cage. The bird was getting to big for it’s cage. The boy found a bigger cage for the falcon. Soon the falcon became an adult. The cage got smaller and smaller for him. The boy decided to let the falcon go. The falcon didn’t know how to hunt. It came back for food every day. The next day the falcon didn’t come. The boy knew he must of found a mate that was teaching him how to hunt. The boy didn’t think he would see the falcon again. Then he came to say good bye. The boy was sad and happy that the falcon was going away but he knew he would be happy to be free.

One day there was a little boy named Wenceslco Deliz who found a bird in a nest on the side of the road. Then the boy took the falcon home and put the falcon in a cage. As the falcon grew the cage got to small and had to be moved into a bigger cage. Then when the man let the falcon out he kept coming back because he didn’t know how to get his own food so he had to keep coming back three times a day to get food. Then the falcon got help by anther falcon and he learned to hunt. So he never really came around because he got his own food and didn’t need the man’s food. Then the falcon would come around every chance he got to visit the family.

Wesnceslao Serra Deliz was a boy that lived in Puerto Rico. His friend bought him two baby falcons. When the boy got home he put the falcon into a cage. The falcon did not know how to hunt or fly. When the cage got to small for the falcon he moved every thing to the side. When the boy noticed he let the falcon go. But the falcon did not know what to do so the boy had to help get the falcon out of the cage. After the boy got the falcon out of the cage the falcon jumped off the boys hand and into the air. Every once in a while the falcon goes to the man and gets food. Then he found a mate and learned how to hunt. Then he stopped coming because he knew he was free.

Deliz raised a falcon chick at his farm. Deliz bought a cage for the falcon and soon it was too small for the falcon. The falcon had grown so much it could not sit in it only lie down. Then Deliz realized he had to let him go because he belonged in the wild. So he let him free. At that moment Deliz new he was happy to be free. The next day the falcon shrieked and Deliz new he was hungry. The falcon had to be taught to hunt. The falcon met a mate and the mate taught him how to hunt. Soon after meeting his mate he no longer came to see the boy, or get food from the boy. He came back and the boy knew it was to say good-bye for the last time.

In the story Good Bye falcon Mr Deliz lived in Puerto Rico by the warmest mountain. One day someone was selling 2 baby falcons. Mr.Deliz bought both for 1 peso each. He gave one away to his friend and put the other in a cage in his room. Then one day the falcon got lose in his room but didn’t fly away. Then the falcon was getting to big for it’s cage so Mr. Deliz let the falcon go free. It didn’t leave because it didn’t know how to hunt. Mr. Deliz fed the falcon 3 times a day. Then the falcon found a mate and flew away. The falcon came back to say good bye for a one last time.

The man in this story lives in Puetor Rico. The man puts a wild falcon into captivity. The falcon begins to grow and needs a bigger cage. The man puts him in a bigger cage on the porch. Soon, he grows too big and the man lets him free. Every day the falcon came back three times a day because he dose not know how to hunt. Then he finds a mate who teaches him to hunt. Then he comes back for three days just to say good- bye.
