I needed a cup, a 3x5 card and water for the experiment. I filed the cup 1/2 full and put the card over the top of the cup. Then turn cup upsid down and removed hand from cup. When I turned the cup over I removed my hand from the cup and the card stickt to the top of the cup. That showed there is more air pressure outside of the cup of water.
