Presenting Our Habitats: page 2

The Barn Owl
by Ismael

I had fun doing my report for the Barn Owl because it was a challenge. The report was pretty easy but the habitat was hard. I had a bunch of ideas for it but I finally narrowed it down to what I have now. Putting it together was hard though. It took us a whole day until we decided what we were going to do for the Barn Owl. It took us two weeks to finish the habitat and by then I knew a lot about the Barn Owl. I learned that they make a hissing sound instead of a hoot. They weigh about 17 pounds.

They also have 5 gill slits on each side of their head. they 300 razor sharp teeth that are serrated. They have a long nose that is shaped almost like a bullet. They move by slicing there tale left to right. There bodys are gray and there belys are white and there eyes are black. They are carnivores. They eat fish, seals, dolfins, and sometimes great whites.
