Here we are preparing for Chinese New Year, Valentine's Day and/or 100's Day. You can see our Chinese lanterns hanging from the ceiling.

We had a Chinese New Year party in our classroom. We ate rice with chopsticks, fortune cookies and cupcakes (we only had cupcakes because it was Bryson's birthday.) We all had to wear red shirts because in china red means good luck. We also hung Chinese lanterns from the ceiling. The Chinese New Year starts on the first new moon of the year and lasts 15 days.
