Assessment Next Week

Beginning Monday, November 1, I will be giving a series of written assessments to your child. We will begin our assessment sessions at 8:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Please make sure your child gets adequate rest and plenty of water and nutritious food. This assessment will help me to accurately evaluate your child's progress for the upcoming report card.

Parent/Teacher Conferences

Please call the elementary office to schedule an appointment at 889-9674.

Conferences take place on:
Thursday, Nov. 11 5-8 pm
Friday, Nov. 12; 8- 11am.

Halloween Ball

Yes! Tomorrow is the big day!

Thanks to all parents that are bringing in food and volunteering their time at the Halloween Ball. We will need parents to arrive at 1:00 PM. I will have "assignments" for parents to either help distribute food or help with games. We will play games, sing songs, dance to some spooky music, and enjoy our Halloween buffet.

Election Day

Please vote on November 2nd!

Today we voted in our class. George W. Bush received 70% of the vote and John F. Kerry received 30% of the vote. The Weekly Reader published by Scholastic holds a student poll every election. Since 1956 it the poll has predicted all of the elected presidents. We will show our patriotic spirit on November 2nd by wearing red, white, and blue!
