<--April 29: Our Chicks are now a day old. Mr. Kudlack explained how we were to hold them very carefully.

Ashley was very careful. She said, "The chicks are so little we have to be careful."

Caleb told Ryan, "The chicks are cuddly too."

Randy told his brother Ryan, "The chicks are fuzzy."

Logan C. said, "They are fluffy when I hold one. They are really fast, but they can't fly. I like the big fat white one."

Brook Ann talked to Mia. Mia said, "Chicks can run fast. They also fly. They eat a lot. They drink a lot. We take care of them. They like the dirt."

Rhianan told Brooke, "I like the white chicken. I call the white one snow. They jump up and down a lot. The black one hops the most."

Lauren asked Jack what he thought of the Chickens. He said, "I like the black ones. They are cool. I am learning how to take care of small animals."

Emma told Lauren, a fifth grader, "The chickens are cute. They run around. They have big feathers."

Matthew told Cameron, " I like holding the baby chicks. I like to watch them run around."

Brandin told fifth grader Brooke Taylor, "The chicks were really cute. You can pick them up. My favorite on is yellow and I call it fuzzy. You have to feed them a lot."
