<--April 28: Our eggs have hatched.

^ This is how the used to look!

We will have to keep the young chicks safe and warm in an incubator. The thermometer tells us if it is warm enough. We can see through the glass wall.

Today there are 22 little fuzzy chicks of all colors. Perhaps more will hatch. We started with 38 eggs so we did very well.

Mr. K. knows about hatching eggs. Mr. Zupin helps him. Mr. Zupin is our volunteer farm expert.

We have done drawings showing the stages of an animal's life. We wish they would show up better, but you can come to our class and see our REAL drawings.

We have noted the stages of development of many animals and plants during our kindergarten year. We have also watched the seasons change. Now it is spring: the time for eggs to hatch!
