NOTE: During the first weeks of December the fifth graders wrote questions and conducted interviews with Kindergarten, first, and second graders. We hope to have all interviews completed and placed on these web pages by December 19th.
Interviewing Andrew In Andrew's class they are making Christmas trees. The said they used their hands. He likes getting Christmas trees. He also likes Christmas. He likes school because of recess. His favorite holiday is Christmas because he likes to get presents. When it is winter out he likes to go outside and throw snowballs. He said he spells his name like this A N D R E W.
Interviewing Sadee Today I got to interview a first grader named Sadee. She likes first grade because they get to make gingerbread me. Sadee likes to open presents. For the Christmas program she is going to sing and dance. Sadee likes everything. Her favorite book is The Legend of the Sleeping Bear Dunes. She likes to make snow balls and throw them at her dog. She likes lunch and recess she has many pets and many friends she likes everything at school.
Interviewing Majida The girl's name I interviewed was Majida. She is in Mrs. N.'s class. She likes to make snowmen in the snow. She is staying at home for Christmas. Her favorite Christmas food is strawberries. The song she is singing is "Here Comes Betty Beautiful"
Interviewing Brittany Brittany will sing We Wish You a Merry Christmas at the Christmas program. She will be wearing red and white. Brittany plans to go to her grandma's for Christmas. She thinks she will get a lot of gifts! She wants many Pollys for Christmas. She also hopes there is snow so she can build snow forts.

Alexa The person I interviewed was Alexa. She said that she likes Mr. K because he is funny. She likes Christmas because of the presents and Santa comes. She hasn't made any projects yet, but she would like to make a Christmas tree. To make her project she would get real pine needles and glue the onto a tree. For Christmas she would like a brat doll and an American Girl doll. Last night she had fun at the basketball game. She had her American Girl doll dressed up like a cheerleaders. She said her dad is the coach. I liked interviewing her, but she was a little bit shy at first. |
Interviewing Caitlin Today I interviewed a child named Caitlin. Christmas is Caitlin's favorite holiday. She has seen Santa at the mall. On Christmas Caitlin wants to get some clothes, new shoes, a pony and a book. For Christmas she usually goes to her Grandmas. Caitlin says she has seen Santa Claus before. I asked here where. She said she saw Santa in the mall. Caitlin's favorite holiday is Christmas. She likes it because of presents. Caitlin is a very nice girl. I think Santa will know that and bring her lots of presents. When it is snowing out Caitlin likes to make snowmen. She likes to ski too.
My Interview This Christmas Faith will leave cookies and milk for Santa. I would leave Santa coffee instead of milk, but Faith thought he would like milk best. She can hardly wait to open presents. She usually gets lots of different things for Christmas. She loves Christmas and thinks it is lots of fun. She was pretty shy and I couldn't get her to say much more. That didn't surprise me. Lots of kids are shy.
Interviewing Hailey I interviewed Hailey because I knew her so that would make it easier. I could have got the same answers without interviewing her. She likes first grade so far. She likes to snowmobile, sled and have snowball fights with her twin sister and big brother. She likes Christmas and it is her favorite holiday. Her favorite part is opening presents. When she is not opening presents or throwing snowballs, Hailey likes to read books.
Interviewing Katie My interview with Katie went well. Katie said she wants a new backpack for Christmas. She also said that she has three cats and one dog. Katie said that she likes the snow. She also said that she wants to be an ice skater when she gets older. My interview went well.
My Interview with Devin Today I interviewed a child named Devin who is from Mrs. N's class. Devin is 6 years old and has one brother. Devin's favorite holiday is Christmas. For Christmas Devin will set out cookies for Santa. Devin also likes to ski and sled . He likes to go sledding at his grandma's and on the school hill. |
