NOTE: During the first week of December the fifth graders wrote questions and conducted interviews with Mrs. Eichberger's first graders. We hope to have all interviews completed and placed on these web pages by December 5th.

Jessie Interviews Julie

I interviewed a nice little girl named Julie. She brought her lunch box along with a sandwich, an apple, crackers and juice! I don't know how she could eat so much.

Julie told me she had turkey, pumpkin pie, and cheese cake for Thanksgiving. She drank Sprite and Hawaiian Punch. After she ate she stayed at her cousin's for a little bit.

Julie likes her teacher. She said her teacher can sing and play the piano.

Interviewing a Girl Named Megan
Taylor

I interviewed a little girl who was in first grade and her name is Megan. She helped her class put some garlic, corn, red peppers, onions and tomatoes in the soup. Megan thought the soup tasted like good soup.

She does like Thanksgiving. She went to her grandma's house for Thanksgiving. She said she ate some turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, dinner rolls and she drank some water.

I had a nice interview with Megan.

Interviewing Children

Today in L.A. the class interviewed one or two kids from the first grade. Some were shy but the person I interviewed, Devin, answered all his questions. Devin told me he likes to read and do math, and to do work.

He said they made vests and colored them with markers. For their feast in their class they had corn, cornbread and veggie soup. It took one half hour to make the soup. 

For Thanksgiving with his family Devin had turkey, corn, mashed potatoes, cranberries and ham. Devin was very nice to answer all my questions. I gave him a book to keep.

Interviewing Danielle

Danielle said the soup that they had was really good. She also said the soup was warm. They made vests after they ate their soup. Danielle said she didn't help make the soup. She said there was a lot of stuff in the soup. Then she said there was mostly carrots in the soup.

She stayed at home for Thanksgiving. Her cousins, grandpa, grandma, mom, dad and brother were there. She had turkey, mashed potatoes, pumpkin pie, gravy stuffing and corn. She also played soccer with her cousins. Her team won.

About Duane

Duane had a feast in his first grade classroom. The soup they had had tomatoes, onions, and red peppers. The food they had was soup and corn bread. The reason they had bags on them at the feast is because he thinks they were being Indians. The bags were supposed to be vests. The best food was the cornbread

Duane's mom works at a restaurant in Arcadia. He helps her clean the tables and he picks up plates. He is a good worker.

He lost his two front teeth when he hit his roles. He said he had a happy Thanksgiving.

Interviewing Jacob

Jacob is in first grade. He told me he likes first grade. He also liked the soup. He said it was easy to make the soup. The soup was made of vegetables and water. He told me he reads books a little.

He told me he made a brown vest. He said they made it out of brown paper bags and drew pictures on it with markers. He said that at school they sing songs like "the clean up song" and other songs. That is what Jacob told me.

About Payton

At the Thanksgiving Feast in his classroom, Payton had cornbread and soup. He had the most of cornbread. He didn't like the soup. He did like the taste of the cornbread.

Payton helped to make the soup. In the soup was garlic, corn broccoli, and celery. His tongue got burnt from the soup, maybe that's why he didn't like it. Payton seemed to like the feast at school

Interviewing Alexis

I interviewed a little girl named Alexis. She told me she made soup at school. She said she did not like soup.  She said her class does plays too and she likes to do plays.

She told me that she made a vest that fits. Sometimes her class gets healthy snacks. She said healthy snacks taste good. That is what Alexis told me.

My Interview with Tawny
Ashlie

Tawny is a twin of Hailey. In the winter time Tawny likes to ski. When Tawny skies she goes to Crystal Mountain. Tawny also likes to sled in the winter time. Tawny sleds on the school hill with her class. That is what Tawny likes to do in the winter.

Tawny's teacher plays the piano. Tawny says her teacher can play songs on the piano. Tawny's teacher used to be a music teacher. Their class sings clean up songs, good morning songs, Thanksgiving songs, and Christmas songs.
