Girls Basketball is great fun because we get to shoot basketballs from the free throw and we play lightning. Lightning is a game that you play with two balls and a bunch of people lined up. Then the first person in line shoots and if the person behind you gets the ball into the basket before you, you are out of the game. Our team coach is Mrs. Hagen, Taylor's mom. Another fun thing to do in Basketball is that you get to play follow the leader, and do lay up. A lay up is when you run up to the basketball and shoot to the side of the hoop.

In basketball first when we get out there we have to run two laps around the playground, then we shoot basketballs for a few minits, then we stretch. Next we have to run and dribble down the court and shoot and then run and dribble back.

The girls are coached by Gina Hagen and Teresa Smith.

Girls B-ball is really fun because my mom is the coach and her friend Mrs. Smith is the coach too. We shoot, we do denence, and ofence plays. The plays are really fun becaus it's like a real B-ball game. Maeve and I are the captains. It's really fun being a captain because you get to run the streaches and bring the balls to practice and back into my mom's office. Then you tell the team how many laps all of them are suppose to run around the play ground. You're kind of like the asistant coach. I love Basketball. It is very fun.

Girls basketball is very fun. I'm with all of my friends. Our team has Brooke, Maeve, Yumi, Malana, Taylor, Brooke and Ashley. The captains of the team are Maeve and Taylor. Basketball is great. I am having lots of fun playing basketball with my friends. I wil play basketball again next year.
