Pecos Bill

Three days ago my class started a play called Pecos Bill. Today we will do the play for people. I am the narrator with Malana, and Malana is the mother too. Brooke Se, Nolan, Ryan, Jake, Trevor, and Shane are also in the play. The other people in the class are in a different group. Brooke is Slufoot Sue, Nolan is Bill, Ryan is Chuckwagon Chuck, Jake is FlapJack, Trevor is Sourdough Sam, and Shane was Hardtack Hank.

On Thursday we did the play Pecos Bill. It was a lot of fun. Many of the people brought in props, like toy horses, or cowboy hats. I did not have to dress up because I was the Narrator. Our group did a good job in the play. It was very exciting too. I hope that everyone had a good time, and I did too.

Last week the class started a play about Pecos Bill. I was one of the bandana bandits and also a coyote. It was hard to talk with a bandana on your mouth. It was a good play. I liked being in the play.

Today we started a play called Pecos Bill. First had to split up into two different groups. After that we had to decide was going to play which part. I am Flapjack and a coyote. I kind of like being a robber because then I would usually get rich. The practice is easy be cause I can look in my book.

Then we practiced the play. I got to be a coyote because I can sound almost exactly like one. The Bad part was the bandana was tied kind of tight and was rather uncomfortable. I enjoyed being a coyote. Being a robber was fun to.

The play was okay. The fact that I was encouraged to sound like a coyote was cool. The fact that I was a robber was also cool. It was embarrassing that I had to say, "we’re the Bandana Bandits"

The play for Pecos Bill is fun to do. I think the Pecos Bill play is the best short play to do yet. In the play I am hardtack hank and I have to be a coyote. Being those two characters is fun and easy to do. I like doing the play in a group because it is better.

In the beginning it was a little bit hard. It was hard because you are picking two character’s and you don’t know which one’s to pick! It took me a while but I picked. It was fun trying to pick my character’s. It was fun doing this play and I hope we do good.

The play we all did was very fun to do. The two character’s I picked were a coyote and Hard Tack Hank. I don’t think we did as good as the other team just because I don’t think so. It does not matter how good you are it matters how much fun it is. That is what I think of the play for Pecos Bill play.

Three days ago we had to pick parts for the Pecos Bill play. I picked Chuckwagon Chuck. Alan was going to be Pa, but since he is not here I have to Pa. So I have two parts. Malama and I are the only ones that have two parts. It is really funny taking like they did back then. You know like the words they said.

It was fun to perform the play of Pecos Bill. I would like to do a different play. I really enjoyed the play.

Our practices for Pecos Bill went well. Our group got along pretty well together, but sometimes we were just fooling around instead of doing what we were supposed to be doing. I had fun though. Practicing for our play was fun.

The play for Pecos Bill went well for our group. I think that we did a very good job. I had a fun time acting in the Pecos Bill play, but sometimes I messed up. Cameron, whom was Pecos Bill, did really well. He had to do a lot of things in the play, and he didn’t mess up at all. I liked the Pecos Bill activity and I hope that we can do something like it again.

Practicing the Pecos Bill play is fun. My team is doing pretty well on teamwork. I don’t do very well because I can’t remember my parts. Everyone else does their parts better than I do. That’s what practice is for, to get better.

I liked the Pecos Bill play, it was fun. I didn’t do as well as the others in my group. I forgot it was my turn a couple of times. I wasn’t a good coyote. Cam was the best in the group.

We worked together pretty well. At first everyone was arguing about who gets what part, but then we got everything sorted out. After that we got all our parts down and worked together to get things done. We all wanted a different part so things weren’t that hard to put together. I thought we did really well working together.

We had some trouble planning the play. It was hard to assign extra parts. Also it wasn’t easy to find some of the props. We had to find clothes, a snake, rope, an ax, boulder, wood, a wagon, bandanas, and people to play the parts. Still, we did get everything to perform a good play. That is what I think.

I thought that the Pecos Bill play was very fun. It was fun because we all got a part in it. Also we got to skip reading in our language arts book. That is what made this play fun. I hope we do another play this year.

The play was a lot fun. We only had the rest of the 5^th grade class to watch. I was the narrator and the mom. Shane, Trevor, and Jake were the bandana bandits.

I missed Monday and then on Tuesday I found out that I was going to be the mom. Then I asked if I could be the mom and the narrator. I wanted to be Sluefoot Sue, but Brooke Se got the part on Monday. The play was a lot of fun.

I wish we could have done it for other classes but everyone else decided that we should just have the 5^th grade. The play was kind of confusing. I messed up a couple of times. I had a lot of fun. I wish I could do it again.

Monday we started a play called Pecos Bill. We split into two groups , all playing the same play. When me and my group started the play none of us got along. It was hard to organize the play.

In the play I was Sluefoot Sue. A lot of people in my group, like me for instance, didn’t cooperate. When we had to pick what to wear I couldn’t decide. When I got up in stage I thought I was going to screw up bad. Luckily I didn’t. It was really fun.

Our team gets along really well together. Everybody works and we don’t mess around a lot. Sometimes we fight but we get along most of the time. Ashley is in charge most of the time. I am very glad I am on this team for the play.

It didn’t take us very long to find out who we were going to be in the play. I’m Pecos Bill the first cowpoke in the west. There are a lot of other characters in the play. There are seven other people in the play. The play is kind of hard but also kind of funny. I am very glad we are doing this play.

It was different putting on a play about Pecos Bill. Our group did very well. It didn’t take very long to finish acting out the play. My favorite part is when I catch a two ton Texas Trout. I really enjoyed doing a play about the cowpoke Pecos Bill.

Three days ago we split in to two groups and started a play called "Pecos Bill". My group and I just read through then the next day we started. The second day we acted it out. The third day was the dress rehersal.

I am Sluefootsue, Miss Kansas. That is my part of the play. I like this play. It is about an old cowboy named Pecos Bill. Who was adopted by a pack of coyotes. He didn’t know what a human was until a couple years later when one came along.

When it came Thursday, I was nervous. It was time to present the play. I was afraid I was going to mess up. After the play was over I felt that we did good. We only messed up once in the whole play.

For the past week we have been working on the play Pecos Bill. I got to play Bill. The class was split into two groups with 9 people in our group and 7 in the other group. In our group there is Maeve, Ryan, Malana, Brooke Se, Shane, Trevor, Jake, Alan, and I. The play is very interesting.

It starts out with Bill getting separated from his parents. Bill is very sad until he is found by coyotes who raise him. After that a human named Chuck finds Bill and teaches him how to act normal. Bill and Chuck then get held up by bandits, do a cattle drive to Kansas, and get stuck in a huge Tornado.

Bill also finds the love of his life and proves himself by riding a great tornado. Pecos Bill is the best book I ever read.

Our group had to go first when we preformed the play. I was kind of nervous but not for long. I didn’t really know my lines so I had to read out of a book which was confusing because I kept losing my spot. I think we did really well because we all practiced. Then we got to watch the other group perform and they did good too.

On the play we were doing really good until the end when cam had to hold hands. Cam did not want to hold hands with Ashley so he pulled he dress up shirt down the held her hand. Than in the real play he really held her hand. It was really funny our play turned out great only we messed up on some of the parts. Other than that our play was great.

We got along great after a while of working it out. Sometimes we were laughing up a storm because cam as bill had a lot of funny parts. Like when he sits down and starts crying. It is a lot of fun I am sourdough Sal. I am a bad person. I take money from the bank but I never get to that because I learn my lesson.

During the play we were having a little trouble picking out the characters to play. So the teacher had to help us out. So I got sourdough Sal. I was really happy we I got that part. It was a lot of fun and we got most of the parts we wanted.
