We made a book of memoirs using our favorite pictures of the year. Students wrote why those pictures were their favorite. The most favorite moments were the Valentines Sing, May Day, playing dress-up, and our Quilt Project.

Summer Birthdays

If you child wishes to celebrate their June, July or August birthday with their class, please send in fresh fruit. We will celebrate summer birthdays from now until the last day of school.

Friday, June 4

• Reading Buddy Beach Party: Please bring sack lunch, beach towel, and lots of books!

Tuesday, June 8: Field Day

• Wear appropriate clothing for outside play.

Wednesday, June 9: Class Picnic under the Tree

• Bring sack lunch.
• We will have early dismissal at 1:40 on that day too!

Thursday, June 10: Last day of School

• School will be dismissed at 1:40.

There will be a substitute on that day, as I will be taking part in a good friend’s wedding in Chicago. All important year end work, including writing folders and math journals will go home on Wednesday, June 9. Please make sure you child brings their backpack on these last two days.
