Getting ready for the concert was exciting. We were warming up our instruments. The room was loud with music. Mrs. Eldridge was taking pictures of everyone. Most of the excited people were wearing bright red just like me because of Valentine’s Day.

At the concert I was very nervous. I felt light like I might faint but I didn’t. We were first in the concert. We started to play our first song, which was "Hot Cross Buns". It sounded pretty good. Our next song sounded even better. I was my best song. At the end I was glad it was over when we were done.

Getting ready for the band concert was thrilling. There were lots of colorful noises coming out of the room. Everybody was looking splendid. Duane was even wearing tight suspenders.

On stage at the concert I felt excited and nervous at the same time. Once we started playing though it felt fun. Once I had to read the music because I hadn’t memorized it I figured out that I had the wrong book so I winged it the rest of the song. At the end of our part I had a lot of help getting all of my heavy equipment of the stands.

The band concert was very thrilling.

Getting ready for the band concert was spectacular. The best part of the concert was the fun of getting ready. Some parts were like easy to do. One part I like was practicing, and it was awesome. The noise was very loud.

On stage at the concert I felt proud. The part I like was the 5th grade playing their instruments, and it was amazing. The 4th grade played two songs. My mom said that I played good on the trombone.

At the end of the concert I had to help Nolan carry his heavy instrument, which is the drums and the bells, up the stairs. Holding my instrument with a neck strap made my neck red.

Getting ready for the band concert was exciting. Everyone was making noises, and Mrs. Eldridge was hurrying around to get pictures before the concert. When Mrs. Eldridge was in the middle of taking a picture of me and my partner Brooke Somero, Duane walked right in front of Brooke and I. I had fun getting ready for the band concert.

On stage at the concert I felt nervous that my clarinet would squeak or something would go wrong. I also felt embarrassed because so many people were watching. But I felt better when I saw that I couldn’t see the audience very well. I figured that the audience could see me thoe. During the concert Cameron’s trumpet was blowing right in my ear. While Jake kept on making weird noises. I could tell that Chris was playing the wrong notes because he was right behind me. I am glad that I made it to the band concert.

On Tuesday we rehearsed the 5th grade band concert. It was the best thing I’ve ever done! There were a lot of lights in there. It was really hot!

I missed a lot of notes though.
