My Cat Ki-Ki
By Katie

My cat’s name is Ki-Ki. I saw here when she was just a little baby. My mom friend, Karen Fredrickes, has a cat that had her. I got the first pick out of the whole litter. I picked her because of her colors. She is white, Brown, Black, and tan. Her bread is Tortishell. She did have blue eyes when she was a baby, and now she has green.

When she was little I visited her every Wednesday. When she came to my house we put her in our hallway so she wouldn’t get lost. That night I slept in the hall with her so she wouldn’t get lonely. Then we let her out. She got lost once and then we found her.

A lot of the time Ki-Ki plays with furry things. She also plays with string and feathers. She likes to get some of the stuff my mom cooks. She really likes Tuna. When she wants something of mine, like Ice cream, she meows really short. It kind of sounds like "ow". When she is hurt she meows really long. Sometimes when she’s mad she bites and hisses. Other times she acts really grumpy.

Some times I can tell were she’s been and what she’s doing. I can tell where she’s been because when she smells bad then she’s been in the litter box. When she smells musty then she’s been in the basement. When my mom and dad hold her the she smells like perfume. I can tell what she’s doing because of the noise. When there’s a big noise from down the hall then she’s knocked something over in my room. I can tell when she’s done some thing wrong because my mom yells" Ki-K" and my dad yells" cat". Ki-Ki is very soft and I love to pet her.

I love Ki-Ki and I’m pretty sure she loves me too. I’m glade I have Ki-Ki Prielipp

The Wonders of My Dog Max
Jake

My dog, Max, is a very important part to our family (His real name is Maxamillion cuier of the 80). He is a golden retriever with yellowish golden fur. Max is large, but ery kind. He weighs about 80 pounds. He also has brown eyes with a little cataracts in each one. I don’t know what he looked like when he was a puppy because I wasn’t born yet.

Max is a very old dog at the age of 12. Twelve in dog years would wake him 84 in human years. There are some good things about Max being old and some that are bad. The good thing is that since he is old he is very calm and nice. The bad thing is he gets really grumpy when another dog plays with his toy.

He also makes different noises for different reasons. He barks wildly when a car drives up the driveway. If he wants to be petted whines. He also whines when he’s hungry, or wants to come inside.

I like my dog Max and I hope he could never die.

Charles
Jordan

Charles is our dog. Charles has a lot of hairy fur. Its color is black and white. If you fall down Charles will run and jump on you. He will also scratch you. My brother and I tackle Charles. It is fun tackling Charles.

We have had the dog for about two years. It will be Charles second Christmas. We got Charles in Mesick. Charles is to big to go in the house so I take Charles presents out to is little pen thing. Charles is scared of cameras. Our dog, ways, about ninety-five pounds. When we first got Charles he looked cute. Now that Charles is older he is so big that some people think he is a bear. Charles dose not look as cute as he use to look. But I still like Charles a lot and I hope that Charles don't die for a long time. That’s about my family's dog.

Buddy
Chase

My dog buddy. We got him from a lady who found his mom on the side of the road. When we got him he was five months old and four inches tall. He was a beagle-mutt and had two marks over is eyes.

We can tell where he wants to go and what he’s doing by where he goes and what sounds he makes. When he wants to go outside he runs by the door. When he’s having a night mere he makes a chirping sound. Buddy is a good dog.

Chipchuroony
Dan

My dog, Chip is a Golden Retriever. He is big and strong, but he is only about seven years old. He doesn’t know how to do any tricks but he's a pretty cool dog

I love Chip. He is so soft and cuddly. Almost every day I play with him inside.

His favorite season is winter because of the snow. Jaylee and I throw snow at Chip then he tackles us. Chip gets along fine with my sister’s horse, Kelly.

His girl friends name is Katie. She lives down the road from us. She is a black dog. I don’t know what kind of dog she is but she’s nice.

My Wonderful dog Maggie
Joe Frederick

My dog’s name is Maggie. She is a German short hair pointer. Maggie is mainly gray with brownish black spots. Her head is brown like her spots and it has a little white spot in the middle. My dog Maggie is about eleven in human, which is about seventy, seven in dog years. She has big ears and a short gray tail.

She is very wild and runs away is she when let out without a leash. She also runs very fast. My dog Maggie also barks a lot. Most dogs do but if you throw a little bit of water on her she will stop. When she needs to go out side she wines and walks by the door. When she wants to come in she barks. When she needs food she whines by her bowl.

Maggie usually hangs out on my bed and on the couch in the grage. My mom hates when Maggie goes on my bed, but I don’t care.

I like Maggie very much and I hope she never dies.

Maggie
by Katherine

My pony, Maggie, is a P.O.A (pony of America). She is white with black spots all over her body, which makes her look really adorable. Her back is about up to my shoulder and she is 11 years old.

Before I got Maggie I had a little black and white pony named Teddy Bear. He got to small for me and I had to sell him. That’s when my mom bought me Maggie. She had never stood in cross ties and had not been ridden English so we had some work to do.

Maggie communicates to me by making sounds. When she is bored she kicks her foot against the ground, that’s pawing. When she is hungry she kicks the stall door hard with her foot. When Maggie is happy to see me she has a high pitch whinny.

Maggie goes out in the pasture with her friend Sorina. Sorina is a Norwegian Fjord. Sorina and Maggie do most stuff together. They eat near each other and play near each other. I think they are best friends.

Maggie spends most of her day eating grass in a big pasture with her friends. She comes in the barn in the morning to get her food and stays in the barn for about an hour. She also comes in at night for an hour to get her food. Having a pony is a lot of work and a big responsibility.

Maggie has a thick warm winter coat. She is big and fluffy in the winter. I love to pet her soft back. Maggie needs to be brushed and checked at least twice a week to keep her winter coat this soft and fluffy. I need to pick all the rocks out of her feet so her feet do not get hurt.

Maggie is always friendly. Evan when I'm in a bad mode. That is one of the main things I like about her. She makes me feel happy and joyful when I'm sad and she cheers me up when I need cheering up. I love my pony and I hope I never need to live without her.

All About My Cat Tiger
Katlyn

My cat Tiger is very loving. She has strips and is brown. I don’t know what kind of cat it is. She is an outside cat she likes to hunt. Yesterday I seen her catch a bird. My mom went outside chasing her until she let go.

Tiger was born from one of my first cats. Her and five other babies were born. When you are outside Tiger will come up to you and try to get you to pet her. Other times when your sitting down she will come up to you and sit on your lap and go to sleep.

I have a lot of cats other than Tiger. She is the last one of six cats. Sometimes Butterscotch will come and visit us. He is my sisters cat. I love Tiger she is a great cat.

The Great Billy and Bolet
Joslyn

My friend Cheyenne lives with her grandpa, grandma, and Uncle Roger. Grandpa gave Cheyenne a horse named Bolet about 3 years ago.

After a wile Cheyenne and I would go up to see Bolet and walk in the Pasteur with him. After that became common we started to ask if we could take him out, so we started take Bolet out. We would hand feed him (I didn’t). Cheyenne and I would walk him around and let him eat grass.

When we would walk up the hill to put him back I would hitch a ride on his back. Cheyenne and I did not know if he liked it or not but we did not care. Now Cheyenne and I are way too heavy for him.

After a long time has past Cheyenne’s uncle Roger found a add in the paper for a horse, his name is Billy. We ended up buying him. When Cheyenne was walking him around he saw Bolet and wonted to go see him. After we were dun walking him around we put him in the Pasteur and he became friends with Bolet.

Billy and bollet are great friends, now we feed them grain. How billy and bolet communicate with us is by 3 o’clock they will come up to the fence and wait until we go up to feed them. Billy and Bolet are great.

My Special Old Dog Ode
By Ricki

Once a long time ago I had a dog named Ode and it was a boxer. My dog looked like it face was punch in by someone. It smelled when it got wet but that was no problem because I would give it a bath with some good smelling shampoo. She had very short and straight fur. That’s what my dog likes like.

It was my favorite dog in the whole wide world. She would go hunting with me, I even got my first squirrel with her. We also played a lot of fetch in the winter we played Santa I rode on the sled and Ode was my reindeer, I made her a pair of antalers out of two sticks.

He died in about three year ago I put a lot of flower on her grave she is bared by a big tree. I love my dog with all my heart. Just because all we did togather.

My cat Simpson
Haley

My cat, Simpson, is very nice. When I was eight years old my mom got Simpson from her friend, Angela. When we got him he was a little kitten, but he is alittle bit bigger now.

He is orange, black, and brown. And he is very very soft. One thing that was funny that he did was when he was sitting on my bunckbed with my other cat, Bart. And they were fighting for a pillow to lay on. Bart got mad and he pushed Simpson off the bunckbed and ran away.

Simpson communicates with us by meowing when he is hungry and when he wants to go outside. If you hold the cat food above his head he will try to jump up and get it. When he goes outside in the snow, when he comes back in he smells like pine trees. I think Simpson is very happy with us.
