My Interview With Sierra
Katherine

Today I was able to ask a first grader some questions. I talked with Sierra. I learned a lot about Sierra from my interview. I learned that her favorite holiday is Christmas because she gets to open up all off her presents. On Christmas Sierra will celebrate with her cousins. Sierra gets to help decorate. This is a lot of fun she says. Sierra picked her Christmas tree out in a school in Manistee.

Sierra does not really care for play in the snow but she enjoys making snow angels with her friends. Her favorite season is summer because it is so warm and pretty and there is no snow. As you can tell Sierra does not like the snow.

Sierras favorite thing to do in the cold is go ice fishing with her step mom. She does not ski or snowboard just ice fish. She ice fishes at Lake Michigan. I really enjoyed my interview with Sierra and I hope to do it again soon.

Today I had a fun time interviewing Bryson. I got to learn a little about him. He is in the first grade. I asked him if he liked the snow he said he did. He also said that when he plays outside he plays trucks. He plays trucks with his friend Brandon.

This year Bryson said that he has a big tree. They didn’t decorate it yet but he gets to help. Last year he said his family and him had decorated the top of his tree with a star that glows. The rest of the tree has colored baubles. Bryson likes to help decorate the tree.

For Christmas Bryson doesn’t know what he wants. He’s going to let Santa decide for him. Bryson is leaving cookies and milk for Santa this year. For the Christmas program the class aren’t singing but they’re doing a play. He gets to be the mouse. Bryson is excited to be the mouse.

Bryson’s favorite part of Christmas is presents. He likes to get up early and see all the presents. He thinks he’s on the good list because he was nice to people.
