Interviewing Duwane
Kevi

I interviewed a kindergartner, Duwane, on Tuesday. When he goes out side he likes building forts with his friends. When he’s not making a snow fort he sleds down the hill. He likes sledding. He hasn’t put up his tree yet. He is going to put it up this weekend. He decorates his tree with lights, candles, candy canes, gingerbread men, and an angel on top. The thing he likes about his tree the most is opening presents under it. He wants every toy in the world.

He’s gonna leave Santa cookies and milk, and for the reindeer carrots. Duwane is making a little Christmas tree

Anja Interviews Hailey
Anja

On Monday I got to interview Hailey. First I asked her some weather questions like what did she like to do in the winter. She said she likes to be on the school hill. She likes sliding down the hill with her sister Tawny. She and her sister are very connected . It could be because they are twins.

The next set of questions were about Santa or Christmas. I asked her about a Christmas tree. She said Yes, we decorated it with balls. In her class they working on ornaments. She said they were big blue squares.

I really like this interviewing project. I think Kindergarten kids are very interesting.

Andrew is Interviewed
Alex

Andrew likes sliding, but he likes to go down the hill by himself.

He didn't decorate a tree yet. He is going to help cut it down first. At school there are many decorations in his room.

He hopes he gets a tractor for Christmas. That's what he likes about Christmas: Presents!

Interviewing Kayla
Haley

Kayla slides down the hill with Louise. They both like to play tag outside. She says she enjoys the school hill. Winter is fun for her.

She is putting ornaments and lights on her Christmas tree. She thinks the best thing about having a tree is getting to decorate. It looks just beautiful when it is done, she thinks.

She says she wants a black doll in her stocking. In return she says she will leave some cookies and milk. On Sunday she went to church and she was in a Christmas play. She said that she didn't know what there class was going to sing in the Christmas program.

She also said that her class made Christmas decorations that look like Christmas trees. She said that she enjoyed making them.

She said that the best part of Christmas was getting presents.

I had fun intervewing Kayla.

Louise is Very Funny
Ethan

Louise is another talkative kindergartner that I interviewed. She was also very funny.

Louise likes to ski in the snow. She likes to make snowmen with her friends. She enjoys riding with her best friend Kayla on the school hill.

Louise hasn't put up a Christmas tree yet, so I don't think she knows quite how it will be decorated. Louise thinks the best part of Christmas is getting presents.

Louise wants Santo to bring her a brown and white horse. She's going to leave some milk for Santa plus cookies with different winter shapes.

For the the school program she is going to sing We Wish You a Merry Christmas. Louse goes to church but she won't be in the church play this year because she is going to Seattle.

Interviewing Bernice
Kailani

Yesterday I interviewed Bernice. bernice said she thought the weather was nice and the snow was good. She said she also likes the school hill. She slides with Louise. She doesn’t have a Christmas Tree in her house. But she thinks the best part about a Christmas Tree is the presents under it. Bernice wants Santa to bring her a Dolly for Christmas. Then she will leave Santa cookies and milk.

Bernice doesn’t know what she is singing for the Christmas Program yet. She doesn’t go to church so she doesn’t have a program there. Her class has not made Christmas ornaments yet and she does not know what they will look like. Bernice’s favorite part about Christmas is the presents she gets.
