Soccer is Cool!

Soccer is cool because every time we play in gym I usually get the ball from everyone except Christian. I am playing soccer it’s awesome. I have been playing ever since 1^st grade. I really like it. I’ve tried other things but soccer is my favorite.

Some things you need to play soccer is shin pads, high socks and we can’t forget the soccer ball. All the positions is forward, midfield, defender and golly. I play forward and defender the best. I am good at steeling the ball from other players.

I had my first game Saturday I was at my grandma and grandpas house and we lost bigtime. Our last game was Monday we lost 2 to 0. I almost made a goal except I didn’t kick it hard enough. I had no water for the whole game and I got really tired. I can’t wait until my next game. I like soccer.

I play soccer for my after school activity. I missed the practices and had one game. There are for quarters in a game first quarter, second quarter, third quarter, and fourth quarter. At our first game in DeVoes field we didn't have enough players so we all had to play all four quarters.

I was vary tired by the second quarter but I kept going. Mr. Fisher told me to be less afraid of the ball I tried my hardest and it worked for a little while. In the third quarter I decided I was not going to let them score any more goals so when the biggest kid came straight at me with the ball I didn't run out of the way I stayed right in front of him to get the ball. WAPP! He hit me in the stomach with the ball. I had to sit down for about 5 minutes. Then I got back in the game and didn't get his way again

Soccer is really fun. I like soccer practice because we get to scrimmage a lot. Last soccer practice our coach got really mad. I felt like I was going to fall over when we took a brake. Plus once a semi passed and Erin kicked the ball and hit the truck. Also Chelsea kicked the ball across the street. So far we had two games, and we lost both. Sense we have practice on Friday that should help. At our first game a lot of our players were missing. So we had Jared and Forrest play. They were pretty good. The other team kept kicking the ball really hard.

Most of the people on our team are Elisabeth, Katherine, Chelsea, James, Noellle, Katlyn, and Brendan. I don’t really know him. We also have Ryan, Erin, and sometimes Jared and Forrest. Our last soccer game had some pretty tall people on the other team. One of them hit Katherine in the stomach with the ball. Hopefully we win our next game. Sept. 25, 2002
