Peacemakers is fun. The 4th and 5th grade get to go to lunch and recess with the younger kids. At lunch we help them clean up messes and put away their trays. Sometimes we help them open things. At recess we keep them out of fights. If a kid is hurt we have to take them in to get a bandage. If you are a peacemaker you have to wear an orange vest. There are adults who watch the kids too. But this way they have more people to help them. Peacemakers can be a hard job too. ...Kailani

Fifth Grade Peacemakers met with Miss Chris to renew their skills at Peacemaking.

Peacemakers are people who help the little kids. They help them by opening their milk cartons, help them find the forks, spoons, and knives. They also help them when they get in fights. Peacemakers teach them good manners. After lunch we go outside with them and you help them if they get hurt. When the bell rings you take them inside and you go back out for your regular recess. Being a Peacemaker is fun. ...Haley L
