Learning about Advertising

There are four types of advertising. One type is pioneer which you use when you open a new business. Another kind is competitive were you say things like the best brands. Reminder is also a type of advertisment, that just tells you the names of your business and a good picture. The last is instatution, tells people the name of the business.

Advertising is made to grab attention, hold intrest, create a desire, and obtain action. A good picture might create more of a desire. So advertising can help a business grow.

Today Mrs. Punches came into our class and told us about advertising. Some advertisements catches your attention and some don't. Like one advertizement is Got Milk. I think my advertisement is good because it has a lot of pictures, colors, and a lot of writing. Do you want to amake an advertisement? I liked making an advertisement because you can do anything, really.

There are four different kinds of advertising. One is Pioneer when there is something new and you want to sell. Then you make an advertising on radio, T.V., previews on movies and more. Also there is reminder it is when you have something that is getting old and you advertise it. Another one is insaturation is when you just talk about the store and not something pacific. The last one is competeration. That is when you compete for some one to buy something. It's like making a good deal. Those are the four ways to advertise.

We advertise because people can see what they are buying and if it is on sale or not and if they want to buy it for a surprise. Some people look and look for it and they don't find it so an advertising has to grab attention and hold interest and create a desire and obtain action. It sould be wall thoht out and vary colorful or it is dull. That is what it is all about. ...Josh

Here are four things that you need to do when you advertise: grab attention, hold interest, obtain action, and create a desire. There are also four types of Advertising; they are pioneer, competitive, reminder, and institutional. If people have choices about what to buy a business will want its ad to promote why the product is better e.g. faster, cheaper, or stronger.
