Working at the Food Pantry Helps Our Community

Cristal and I helped the people go through the line. Kailani, David and Christian helped push carts . It would be nice to have the whole class go but that would be a lot of kids. But anyway I had a lot of fun.

Food Pantry Work

I liked going to the food pantry. This time we wheeled carts out to the people's cars and helpd them unload. I had a partner named Lee. He hleped me wheel the carts and unload. There were lots of foods there. Once a lady asked Lee if he could get a bag of popcorn for her. So Lee went to help her and I got to wheel the cart on my own. Afterwards the lady gave Lee money. You can't take money from people, so he put it in the donation box. I enjoyed going to Food Pantry and I hope I get to do it again.

This is what I had to do in the food pantry. I had to help the people move their box or there bag. When we were done with a person we had to help another person. I had lots of fun helping people. Some of the food they gave were cookies, corn, beans and other things. I had fun in the food pantry.

Raychelle and other NHS students were assisted by five fifth graders. The fifth graders enjoyed working with the older students.

I Like Helping People

I helped people take food to there car. My partner was Kellie. We helped them put food in carts. We feed about 100 families. That was like about 300 people. I like helping people. I want to do this again.

The food pantry is fun! What you do at the food pantry is push carts with food or help people that need help go through the line. The people that went to the food pantry were Cristal, Kailani, Christian, David and me. We all had lots of fun. Cristal and I helped the people go through the line.
