Band Practice

In the beginning of the year we got to pick out an instrument. I picket a trombone. It is kind of hard to play because we have to move the slide from place to place. I got used to the slide and now I think band is fun. If I play next year I would like to play the drums.

Saxophone

The band strument I play is the saxophone. I like band better than last year because we get to usan instrument. In band I am the only saxophone player in my class. The resin I played my instrument is because my mom and my brother played it. It is fun playing.

Percussion

This year is the first year we had of band. At the beginning of the year everyone got to choose his or her instruments. I play the percussion, and I'm the only percussion player in my grade. I usually sit behind my friends Jake, Dann6y and Gus. They all play the trumpet. I like band more than music last year. I like it better because we get to play instruments instead of singing. One thingI like about percussion is that you don't have to blow in anything and it sounds cool. That's why I like band this year.

Euphonium

In band I play the baritone or so I thought. But now I know I play the euphonium. There are only two euphonium players: Bill in the other class, and I. The euphonium is one big instrument. For my size anyway, but I don't care. I got the euphonium by wanting the tuba, but the Marshall music guy siad it would be too big. He did give me the euphonium anyway, which is basically a baby tuba. I am glad I got the euphonium.

Cornet

I play a cornet. The cornet is a small trumpet. The notes are easy to play. A few other cornet players are Ricki, Ryan, and Zach. Band is my third favorite special. I think band is good for our permanent Record. Saxophones are cool. That's the second thing I'd like to play.
