Thank you for teaching us how to put the vine in the

the boiling syrup tempucher was. At night it was 20
degrees in the day it was 40 degrees. Thats cool to
lauren. The maple syrup looked good and smells good. I
think the colors of the maple syrup look cool, preitty
and good.

Density
Dear
Mr. and Mrs. Sievert,
Thank you for inviting us and teaching us about maple
syrup. Thanks for teaching us that the syrup need to be
boiled 20 degrees at night and a 40 degrees day. Also,
that 40 galons of sap fills 1 gal. of syrup. Also, that
clar sap is cold and darker sap is warm. The tap of the
tree has to go at a difrent hight.
Thank you,
Alex

Dear
Mr. and Mrs. Sievert,
Thank you for teaching me about maple syrrup. You tought
me a lot of facts. We found out that the tree was 13 feet
around. I had a lot of fun. A thing that I learned was
the sap can change color when it gets hotter. Another
thing I learned was to get the best running sap it has to
be 20degrees F at night and 40 degrees F at day. The
density of maple syrup has to be just right. I never kne
that sap can get red, yellow or clear. I thought there
was only orange. Also I couldn't believe that big green
tank could hold 325 gallons of sap. Thank you.
Sincearly,
Sean
Tapping
the Tree
Dear
Mr. and Mrs. Sievert,
Thank you for the syrup. I can't wait to eat it. One fact
I learned about syrup is if you boil sap it will equall
syrup. Another one is it needs to be about 20 degrees at
night and fourty at day for the sap to run.

Dear
Mr. and Mrs. Sievert,
Thank you for sharing your time to show us how you make
syrup. Also thank you for the maple syrup. Mr. Sievert
you were almost right about the diamiter of the tree. You
said about 11 feet. We got about 13.08 feet. It was fun
lerning how to make maple syrup. I lerned that you can
have more then one thing in the tree to get sap. Thank
you again for doing that stuff for us.
Your Friend,
Kyle
