Our class participated in a philanthropy project. This lesson focused on rules for the common good. the lesson began with Mrs. N. reading Miss Nelson is Missing by Harry Allard and James Marshall.

Last we made posters to display in our room as a reminder of our class rules. Students enjoy being part of the rule process and are more apt to follow the rules that they create.

 After reading th story we brainstormed rules for our classroom. We made a list of nine rules to post in our room.
