Skiing at Crystal

When we went to Crystal Mountain we had to ride the bus for forty-five minutes to get there. When we finally got there we had to wait another forty-five minutes to get our skies and boots. After that Sherece, Katlyn and I still had to get our passes from Totem Park. I only had to go down two times then I got my pass.

After that Katlyn and I went to this one chair lift to find Angela and Amanda. We couldn’t find them and they said that they would be there. So Katlyn and I looked for them and went skiing. We went skiing for about three hours. Then we started to get hungry so we went to the lodge. Then I saw Angela at the lodge. I had something to eat, put back my skies on and went skiing again. I probably went skiing for another three hours or so then I returned my stuff. Then I got back on the bus. I had a lot of fun skiing that day.

Yesterday February 25, 2003 we went to Cristal Mountain. We had to wait for a very long time till we got our skies and boats. The good thing about waiting is my mom and Tom came, and watched me ski. After we got our skies and boats you had to go to Totem Park first if you don't go on Thursdays. I went skiing and crashed once. After I past I went up Locy chairlift with Kathy and we went down Z5 and Z4. Which is Kailiani's mom. When I was there I say Lisa from last year but now she is home schooled. Katlyn and I skied, but Ashley snowboards.

When I went I ran into Angela and her cousin Amanda, Ashley and her mom, I also ran into a lot of my classmates skiing and snowboarding. My favorite hill is Cheers because it is very high and it goes strait down. I have a lot of favorite hills, but I don't remember what there names are. I had the best time of my life going to Crystal Mountain.

At Crystal Mountain I went skiing for the day. My friend Brooke and I skied together the whole day. We went down a lot of hills. My favorites are Abentroth’s Trail and Hoot Owl. I also like to go over the little bumps snowboarders made, and go on the chair lift called Crystal Clipper. I saw a lot of my friends there. My favorite part was when I went down Hoot Owl. Hoot Owl is green but it goes around this BIG bowl. It is scary skiing around that.

My Mom told Brooke and I that we could go skiing alone and meet her in half an hour for lunch. Brooke and I went to the Buck Chair lift to go down Shelburg’s Shoot and Hoot Owl. We went on Hoot Owl first. Then we took a trail that led to Shelburg’s Shoot, witch is right next to Hoot Owl. I don’t think we should have done that. Almost the whole hill was just flat. By the time we got back and hiked back by the Clipper it was 11:45 and we were 15 minutes late for lunch.

Yesterday we went to Crystal Mountain. When we got there we got our passes. I was going to go with Joe, but I lost him. After I lost Joe I found Kevin, but he only went down two hills and went in side to flirt with the girls the whole while.

When I was getting ready to go up the chair lift and Mrs. Woolman went up with me. Mrs. Woolman had nice skis. After that I found Joe and we found Jordan and he made me wipe out.

Yesterday, we went skiing at Crystal Mountain, and to go skiing. I went skiing with Thomas, Ricky, David, Ethan and James. The funniest part was when Ethan fell when he was getting off the chair lift. Then when he got up the chair lift hit him in the head. Then when we got back at the top he ran throw a bar that made the chair lift stop. Then Ricky ditch us after going down Hoot Owl. So now it was only Ethan, Thomas and James because Ricky went with Jake, Jon, Chase and Josh. Then an Old guy, like 60 years, at us because Ethan fell at the bottom of the chair lift, so we yelled to him we would meet him at the top.

We also did some dangerous things. We did stuff like hit jumps and crash. Thomas crashed once with us but it wasn’t funny, because he flipped right on his face. The good thing was that his mom was with us so she could help him. Then his mom decided to go in to get ready to go because it was one o’clock. I want down five or ten times, after the bus ride back I went to Thomas’s house to go sledding.

Yesterday my class went to Crystal Mountain. I was skiing with Josh and Jon at first. The first run we took was a run behind the Clipper, which wasn’t closed. When we got to the bottom the chair lift was closed, so we had to climb the hill. It was 9:10 when we started climbing the hill. When we were half way up a chair lift operator was at the bottom. We asked him if we could get a ride, but he said no and the chair opens at 10:00. Finally we got to the top (at 9:40) where we started skiing with Gus, Danny, Chase, and Ricky.

We skied about 8 more runs before we went over to the Buck chair lift. When we were over there we made a mistake. We went down a green hill which was flat. I had to push and pull with my ski poles to get down (in some places up). By the time we got down we had just enough time to head back to the lounge and play some games. After that the day was over and we headed back to the bus.

Yesterday when we went to Crystal Mountain we got on the bus, and I sat by Joe. K, Jordan, Brandon, and Cody. When we got to the lodge we went out right away. At the beginning I rode up with Joe K. About half way down the hill it was really flat so we got stuck. Then we found Joe F. We saw Brandon and Kevin go to Loki we followed them.

Once we got to Loki we found Thomas. We went down Canyon and hit some jumps. Then Joe F and I jumped a gap and headed to the Clipper. We would bomb Main Street and go over this mound and jumped really far. Then we went in to eat. I met up with Jon, Jake, Dan, Gus, and Josh. We went down Abendroths Trail. Then we headed over to buck and went on the towrope with Jon, Dan, Gus, Jake, and Josh. I would do spins on the hill. After that we headed up the chair. We went on cheers then back up the chair another time and we went on Hoot Owl twice. We rode up on the chair another time. We started out on Hoot Owl another time then Jon and I were the first ones when Danny asked Jake if he wanted to go down a different trail that we were already passed.

Jake said yes so Jon and I had to walk back a little. So we were going down pretty fast when we turned a corner and there was no hills there were just flat ground for about one fourth of a mile. Once we finally got back to the chair we headed back to the Crystal Clipper. We went down this one trail that I can’t remember its name. I hit a jump and fell on my shoulder. I headed back to the lodge and got a hot chocolate. Then we went back on the bus. On the way back I sat by Joe k, Jordan, and Brandon. Then we went back to the school.

Yesterday we went skiing for good behavior ski day. It took along time to get our skis because we were the last ones to get them. I went with my cousin Amanda, but I wasn’t with her the hole time. I was to cloud to ski. I went on all the hills but black dimons. Sometimes Katlyn and Elizabeth was skiing with me and Amanda. I had fun at Crystal Mountain. I wished we had good behavior ski day next year, but we don’t because we will be in middle school. So that will be the last year to enjoy it. I was in the loge with Channel, Haley, Crystal and her mom. We were joking around with Kevin, but then he went out skiing again. So we justed talked till he came back. Then it was time to leave Crystal Mountain. I had a lot of fun at Crystal Mountain.

On Tuesday when we went to Crystal Mountain the bus ride was really bad because it was to noisy. When we got there I really didn’t know what to do intil they said so. I got my boots and got my skis and then I went skiing.

When I was skiing my first hill I did was canyon. I bent down to get more speed, and then I accidentally hit a jump and I land it. The second hill I went on I met Thomas and went on one hill with then I met Jordan and went skiing with him. It was really fun with a person skiing with you. Jordan got air, but I got more. Only about one jump he got more air then me.

I had a lot of fun at Crystal. My mom, Dad and I skied together. It was exciting got me because I was trying out my new snowboard. I got really good for starting on a new board. It was really cold out. It was about ten and between twenty degrees. Even though it was cold I still had fun with my mom and dad. We raced down the hills a couple times, and we just went down the hills. About eleven or so they took me to a restaurant for lunch. I got hot wings. They were really good.

After, we headed out to ski. I had seen Katie and Katherine a lot. About two or three runs later we headed for the car. We had a long day so we headed home. I had a lovely time skiing with my mom and dad on ski day. We had a really great time. I hope I could ski with them jut like on ski day.

Yesterday we went to Crystal Mountain. I got to hit some jumps and go over some bumps it was fun.

I went skiing with Cody Reed, Jared Miller, and Ryan Pienta it was fun with them. Cody got air, but I got more air. I had some fun playing a game called the Simpsons.

Tuesday was good behavior ski day, and I had a lot of fun. I stuck with Katherine and Ashley in the beginning. We went on Canyon, Z-5, and Shortcut and all over the Loki lift. Then Katherine went inside to find her mom, and she didn’t come back. So Ashley and I went skiing together. After that Ashley got cold so she went to find her mom. She ended up going with her for the rest of the time. I waited for my mom and dad at the clipper and I went with them. We went on almost every blue hill. Then we went in the lodge to eat. In there we found Katherine and her mom. We sat at their table and ate with them. After that I went skiing again. On our way up the Crystal Clipper we saw a kid being pulled by the ski patrol. When ski day was over I rode home with mom and dad. I had a lot of fun going down the hills.

Some people didn’t ski. They stayed in the lodge or stayed home. I have always gone to good behavior ski day. After ski day I went to the Empty Bowl Dinner. Then I went to the basketball game with Katherine and Sherece. At my house (after ski day) I got so tired I feel asleep really fast. That’s what I did on good behavior ski day.

Yesterday our class skipped school, and went skiing/snowboarding at Crystal Mt. The first run we went down we figured out that the chairlift was closed so Jake, Josh, and I had to walk all the way up the ridge to get back to the clipper. Then after that we met with Gus and Danny and had a fun filled morning on the slopes.

After a little while we started to get cold so we decided to go in to warm up and have lunch, but we ended up staying an our later than planed playing video games and looking in the shop. When we finished playing the games we went over to the buck chair and had a fun time on hoot owl and cheers. Finally when it was almost time to go we went in for one more game and a soda. Finally we went back to the bus and rode back to school.

Yesterday I went to Crystal Mountain for ski day, and I had a lot of fun with my friends and mom. I got my skis a lot quicker then most people because they were in my family's locker. Soon after I got all my stuff on I went up Lockey lift with Ashley and Katie. We went down three hills together before I went back to the lockers. Katie and Ashley said they would go down one hill and meet me back at the Lockey lift. I think I was inside for a lot longer then one hill. My mom was helping a lot of little kid's get their ski's on, but we finally went out together. I had not seen Katie or Ashley sense they said they were going to meet me. My mom and me got very cold fast so we went into the lodge to eat and warm up. In the lodge I saw Katie and Ashley. They were both skiing by them self. Once my mom and me were warm we headed back out. We were only out for about three runs before we went back into the lodge to warm up. Sherece saw me in there and ran in to. Sherece was skiing with Katlyn so my mom said for me to go with them and meet her in the lodge half an hour from then. Sherece Katlyn and me had a great time together. We went down a lot of hills, but the time flew by and then I needed to head back and meet my mom. She said for us to go out for the last hour of the day and meet her there which of coarse we did. Then it was time to go. I said good bye to Ashley Katie Sherece and Katlyn, told Mrs. Eldrige I was going with my mom and headed out. Ski day was tons of fun. I hope I can do it again sometime.

Yesterday we went skiing at Crystal Mountain. When I got my boots on I went to Totem Park. When I got there I went all the way back to the lodge because my boots were too small. I got my new boots and headed to Totem Park again. The first time I went down, the lady said I had to go down one more time. I went down then I got my pass, and I went down the bigger hills.

On the bigger hills I went down Emmy, Maine Street, Z-5, and Short Cut. I also went down Giggles and Hoot Owl. I wanted to down Nason’s Trail, but that was closed. After a while I joined Alex, Thomas and Ricky. I met with them when I was going down Bunny Slope. One time with them I fell getting off the ski lift. My ski fell off my boot so I went to get it, and one of the ski lifts hit me in the head.

When we went to Crystal we had to put our stuff in the lodge. We had to put our bags by a table and went out side. After I went out side I went on the hill called Avindrophs trail. I like that hill.

I went with Kevin and Brandon. Kevin went inside after 3 hills and went and flirted with the girls and played games with Meme. It was fun to go with Brandon. We had fallen a couple times. I went on a blue hill with mogoles. I went on the back hills with Brandon. Mrs. Zajack wanted to watch Brandon and I. She said we did very good.

Yesterday I went to Crystal Mountain and learned how to ski. I’m good at cross-country but not to good at down hill. I waited for the fifth grade to go get their rentals and get their skies. Then I went to Totem Park and learned how to ski. After that I went to the bunny hill and skied down it, but my dad didn’t.

The next thing I did was go see the arcade. All the games were really fun. Then my dad and I went to return our boots and skies. Then I road back to school with him. I had a fun time skiing I hope I can again.

Yesterday was Good Behavior day for the 1^st graders, fourth graders, and the fifth graders. We all rode up on three buses. We got there and waited until for all the people that needed rentals. I wanted to ski with Alex and Ricki, but I had to wait because they had to get rentals. Finally after a long time Ricki was done but Alex had to go back inside and get different skies because his boots would not fit in his skies that he had.

After about half an hour Ricki and me got hungry so we went in. About 10 min. later Alex came in. We went down all the blue squares and green circles aleast twice. After about two hours we met Jake, Jon, Chase, Joe, and Josh. We skied with them for maybe half an hour because Alex and I didn't want to ski with them any more. After that day I crashed a lot, and I went home hurting, but I still had fun.

Yesterday we went to Crystal Mountain for good behaivor ski day. You get to go to good behavior day when you don’t get any referrals all semester. Everyone in my class could go this year. Most of the people in my class had to rent equipment.

I am glad that the P.T.O was able to pay for it this year. Yesterday was a beautiful and sunny day, a perfect day for skiing. A lot of people skied with their friends, but I hopped from group to group. Most of the time I skied with Joe K. and Brandon. I also skied with Chase for a while. I had a great time and I ‘m sad that we don’t have it next year.

We went to Crystal Mountain on Tuesday, and I had a lot of fun. On Good Behavior day I skied with a lot of my friends. I skied with Dan, Chase, Jon, Jake, Thomas, Josh, Kevin, Jordan and Brandon. I skied with them at different times though.

We were on the buck and Clipper chair lifts. I played the video games and skied also. We went on a lot of hills and had a lot of too. My mom worked there so I had lunch with her. At Crystal Mountain I had FUN!!
