Fifth Grade Reporter, Stephen, talked with the first graders in Mrs. Sanderson's room and filed this report prior to the program

Jordan said he is wearing red for the program tonight. He is kinda nervous. He plans to wear dress clothes, but he's not wearing a tux.

Bryson reported that he wasn't nervous at all. He is wearing red dress clothes. He said he won't be wearing fancy shoes.

Fifth Grade Reporter, Gus, interviewed the first graders in Mrs. Niederstad's class before the program and filed this report.

Cady says she likes to practice for the program. She likes her music teacher, Mrs. Eichberger. The two songs are "Jolly Old Saint Nicholas" and "In the Manger".

John Michael, Elizabeth's brother, is sort of nervous about the program. He likes to sing and he likes to practice. They are wearing red. He likes the teacher, too.

Samantha likes to practice. She never gets nervous. She is singing two songs and she likes singing a lot. She plans to wear red shirt and red pants.

Jolly Old St. Nicholas, lean your ear this way...

After the Program, Elizabeth & Stephen spoke with the first graders.

Sierra told me she liked the Christmas program. She wore a dress and got to see Santa and Mrs. Claus. She got a candy cane and punch. She liked it when she and Jordan went up to the mike to say their parts. She was surprised when the real Santa walked in. … as Interviewed by Stephen

Levi told me he liked the second song better. He wore black pants and a red shirt. He said, I saw Santa. I got a candy cane. I got punch. I wasn't surprised to see Santa walk in." …as interviewed by Stephen.

Brittany liked the song in the winter. She saw her aunt Mindy. People were waving at her. She got excited up on stage. Her Mom and Dad were proud of her song. It was real loud when the people applauded. I like the songs. When it was over I still wanted to sing. …as interviewed by Elizabeth

Justin liked the song Santa Claus is Coming to Town. He got to see his dad taking pictures. He didn't get cookies or punch. He was a little nervous on the stage. He said he was shy. It was better when he got to hear his brother sing. It was nice to have the big lights but I didn't like bit lights shining on my face. … as interviewed by Elizabeth
