Yesterday was ski day. I had a really good time. My mom went skiing with me. We skied down mostly blues and greens, but some blacks. I had a really good time. The P.T.O. paid for us all to go to Crystal Mountain. A really funny part was when me and Angela were coming off Cut Off. My dad passed us both and got on the chair lift without us. When we finally got there we saw my dad on it. When we were halfway up it we saw my dad go down Loki. Halfway down he crashed! Fourth Graders Take to the Slopes

Thank you PTO for paying for us so we could go skiing. I got my pass for skiing the first time I went down . I also crashed because of Jordon because he came up behind me. We both fell. Me and Jordon went on Hoot Owl. Jordon fell there he also took us cross country because it said blue and most of the way it was cross country. ...Alex

As the OHS Ski Team "official" reporter and mother of 2 children that have raced on the ski team for OHS, I just want to say that I see LOTS of potential and possible future racers for the ski team! My boys, Bob and Christopher, started out just like you with skiing on Good Behavior Day.
Keep up the good work, school, grades and behavior, and when you are in 7th grade you can become a manager for the team. Being a manager means you get to train right along with the ski team! In Late Feb. of each season they hold races for the managers where you can win Medals! The combination of Good Behavior Day, Ski Club, then being a manager with the team in Middle School ,gives you a headstart to becoming fast and skilled on your skis.
It was fun visiting your web pages of your trip to Crystal Mtn. and I look forward to seeing the rest of the classes as they are added. Mrs. Eldridge has made the Ski Team pages for the highschool if you would like to visit them.
