I had a lot of fun when the NewLand kids came. I liked playing Quiz Bowl. We lost, but the other team was really good and anyway it is just for fun. It was Mallory's birthday. She gave everybody brownies.
When they first came, Mrs. Eldridge put every Newland Kid in a group. It looked like everyone had fun at the computer. We did graphs in science out of skittles. I had 59 skittles. Everyone in our group hopes the NewLand kids can come again some day. .... Chelsea

The NewLand kids came in to see the school and work with us. There were a lot of people I knew. My partner was Nick. He is cool. I helped him with the Skittle graph. He did real good here. I think maybe he might come here next year. We got to show the whole school. he really wants to come here but he said he has to talk it over with his parents.. They didn't stay until 3 because they had to catch a bus ride home. ...Drew
