How I Helped
Recycle I gave bags to my mom who stacked them along the wall. I also broke down boxes to stack. When we got a bunch of bags I had to fill them with paper to stack them. Once in a while I put cardboard in a big box. Sometimes I brought boxes with phone books in them to the spot where we stacked bags. When people came to the trailer, I helped unload their car and bring it in the trailer. I had a lot of fun a the trailer with Olivia and Brenna. I'm just glad I could help recycle at the trailer.
Olivia worked piling cardboard while Mr. & Mrs. Bolthouse, began picking up paper from local stores.
Why
We Recycle We recycle because it helps the earth stay clean. Why? Because if we throw everything out, Earth as we know it, will become one giant landfill! That's why we must start recycling before it's too late. So recycle for Earth's sake.

August 11: Another great team!
Mallory and Brenna broke down boxes and packed loose paper into paper bags. Mrs. Mattson, Mrs. Lyman, and Mrs. Eldridge stacked the paper bags. Todd, Chad and Mr. Eldridge worked with the cardboard. What
I did at the Trailer When I went to the recycling trailer I put paper in bags and broke down boxes. One time my mom came and we went to stores and restaurants and got the recycling from them. We used bags of paper as building blocks and stacked them on wend end of the trailer. On the other side we made a huge pile of the broken down boxes. The pile gets so big that people could climb on top and the other people would throw the boxes up and they would put them on the pile. August 18: Travis and Brenna were our helpers. I Did I think the recycle trailer is fun. the best part is climbing to the top of the pile and leveling it out. We got to unload recycle from people's cars. Sometimes they had one bag and other times they had a whole car load. My mom and I went to get a lot of recycle from places in Onekama. We had to build a wall of paper sacks from bags filled with recycle. Flattening boxes was fun too. There were a few boxes that were so stubborn we had to run it over with a car! The rest of the boxes were really easy to break. We also had to throw boxes on to the pile of boxes. That was my trip to the recycle trailer.
