Red Ribbon Week Activities: Decorating Bags

Today we went to the Kindergarten classes for Red Ribbon Week. We had to choose a little kid to work with. I picked Levi. It was fun working with him. We drew everything we could for healthy foods to stop drugs. It was fun. ....Lucas

Today I went to the kindergarten class and decorated bags. I started out with only two kids then I had three, then four, then five. All of those kids were great! We had lots of fun. The last kid wasn't really in my group. No one was helping her so I asked the rest of the kids I was working with if they knew what to do and they did. the rest of the time I worked with the new girl. 		We decorated bags in Mrs. Bromley's room. I had fun. My partner was Logan. Logan is Luke's brother. He and I decorated our bags with healthy foods like fruits and vegetables. ...Aaron
		On November 15 all of the kids in the Brass Section went down to help the Young Fives decorate bags. We did Drug Free designs. I was helping one little kid make cool designs. We wrote "Too Cool to do Drugs". We allso did an X on a cigarette and wrote, "No Beer". Then we did some cool scribbles. It was so much fun that I want to do it again. Andrew C.

Today we got to go to Mrs. Veryser's class while the rest of our class went to Woodwinds. Mrs. Veryser is the D.K. teacher. We got to pick someone to decorate bags with. I colored with Gerald and Berita. I had a lot of fun doing it. When we finished we wrote our names on a poster and put down something we would like to do instead of drugs. I hope we get to do this again in sixth grade. ...Chelsea

This was part of a Drug Free Life during Red Ribbon Week. So what we did was draw unhealthy people and healthy people and put our names at the very top. Then we signed our names and played legos until 8:40 when we went back to our real class. ...Donnie
