Here we are ready to learn about the Manistee River Weir.

Dear Manistee River Weir,
My favorite part was when you open the fish. I liked when you took out the heart and it was still thumping. I learned that the leftover fish gose to Restarants and stores.

Dear Manistee River Weir,
When it was my turn to see the fish get cut open there were thre harts on the table. The girl touched it and it squirted blood. It was cool. I will have to tell my dad to come to Manistee River Weir. I loved it, it was rilly cool because I got to see the fish on it.
I liked like the ranbow salmon the most. they were really pretty. I hope you get bigger fish and I can show my dad and mom and sisters. They'd like that a lot. Ispecholy my dad. That was the best field trip so far.
Love,
Katlyn

Dear Manistee River Weir,
Thank you for showing us the fish. I like fishing, and I like the beating hart. I like to watch the fish jump. I really like the fish eggs. Thank you Scott.

Dear Manistee River Weir,
Today I learned that a salmon heart still bets when it is cut off. I liked when they squirted out the eggs. I didn't like the smell. I hope some day I can come back. Thank you for teaching us what salmon do. Hope to see you soon.
Sincirly,
Katie
