Sherece wrote, "The best part of doing my project was finding all the materials because I got to print it on the computer. I also like when I had to read it out loud because I want the kids in my room to hear what I had to say. My mom helped me do my report sow did my grandma. We all had a grate time. I think the kids in my class liked my report. The worst part of my project was when the glue stuck on me. It fells very grose. Me and my mom were glueing each other when we were doing my report. Then my grandma came in and got some glue on her to. Then she sarted throwing glue. That part was not very fun."

In science, the third graders have been studying animal habitats.

Each of the students created a habitat project which they presented to the other members of the class.

The best part of doing my animal proget was when me and my mom painted the sunset. We put in Lots of colors. We used a cookie cutter to make the shape of the kangaroo. We put in all kinds of animals. Me and my mom were a little messy after we were done. We had painted all over our hands. So then we had to pick up everything. I liked everything we had to do. I really liked to read the kangaroo books. ....Elizabeth, grade 3

The best part of doing my American Elk project was makeing my habitat. I liked it because I got to do the painting, the molding, and I got to spray paint the snow. My mom had to do the glueing. I also liked righting the report about the elk. It was fun making it because it got messy making the paper mache mountain. Also I liked it because I did it with my family. The reading part was pretty cool. My dad looked for information on the computer. There was nothing I didn't like. ... Jake, grade 3

Antoinette was interested in telling us about the panda bear.

Ashley's display shows the habitat of the great white shark.

The best part of doing my Prairie Dogs report was... everything. It was fun. My dad helped me. I liked making the dirt stuff. I also liked finding the animals. I found the animals in my attic. I think my project is cool because it is two story.
