Mud!

(Polly Chase Boyden)

Mud is very nice to feel
All squishy-squash between the toes!
I'd rather wade in wiggly mud
Than smell a yellow rose.

No one else but the rose bush knows

How nice MUD feels between the toes!

Mr. Kudlack's & Mrs. Bromley's classes joined in a spring romp in the mud.   Mr. K. demonstrates mud walking, but where is Mrs. Bromley? We KNOW she would like to play in the mud.

This is fun. We should wade in mud every day.

Could my Mom and your Dad be thinking, "Don't try this at home!" I hope not.

With a little help from the "Moms" we are making our spring headbands to celebrate the season change from winter to spring. We need lots of leaves and flower petals. Perhaps a bird's feather or a plump pollywog would be a nice addition.

I can fly, I can fly!
Give me feathers and I'd touch the sky!

Mud! Yes!

Mud!

Mud is very nice to feel
All squishy-squash between the toes!
I'd rather wade in wiggly mud
Than smell a yellow rose.

No one else but the rose bush knows

How nice MUD feels between the toes!
