Winter Recess is fun. I like to go sledding and hit jumps at recess. I also like to go down the slide because it is really slippery in winter. Sometimes I just play on the playground. Today we couldn't use the sleds because it was too icy. We were able to slide down the hills without any sled. ... Andy |

The winter recess is a lot of fun. We get to go sledding and we can make snowmen. I would like to throw snowballs too, but we can't, so I just go sledding. Sometimes it is really icy so you just go down on your stomach. Some times it will be really snowy so you can use a sled. Everything is really fun. That's why I like recess in winter. ...Stuart |

I have fun outside. I like sledding and making a snowman. I like sledding because I get to go down with my friends. When I go down by myself I get snow in my face. I like to make snowmen too. I like to roll the snow into a ball. I like to make snow angels. It's fun in the snow. I can't wait for more. ....Mara |

Outside recess is the most fun. In the spring and summer and part of the autumn we play tag and other games or just sit on the grass. In winter and the other parts of autumn we go sledding--sometimes with sleds and sometimes on our back, knees, or parts of our body. We also sit in the snow and talk. You can always stop to talk. (I think its most fun in winter, but it is colder.) Although the other seasons are fun, warm and beautiful because of all the flowers and gree green grass. But whatever season it is, recess is fun. ... Sella |
