Julie, Josh, Sella, and Alyssa get help with the project from Miss Bromley.

We are Celebrating Springtime by Creating Sun Catchers and Learning New French Words.

We made sun catchers in French class. We learned spring words. We made the sun catchers in shapes of flowers and butterflies. They look beautiful when the sun goes through them. The way that we did it was we cut holes in the paper and pasted tissue paper on it. We colored the paper with markers to make it loo nice. Miss Bromley said that they were the nicest project we did all year. ...Julie S

Spring 2001

In French our class made spring sun catchers. Miss Bromley, the teacher, thought it would be fun. It was very fun. We could choose a butterfly or flowers. I chose a butterfly. They were made by coloring and then cutting out holes in the picture. Last we glued tissue paper over the holes.

When we were done we hung them on the window to let the sun shine through. They looked beautiful. We could take them home if we wanted, or we could hang then in the class window. I took mine home and gave it to my mom. She liked it. We also learned a lot of French words. ...Brittany
