Once again the mighty Eldridge Homeroom dragged the light weight Finan kids across the finish line.

In field day there are many things to do. The first thing we did was the football passing. Josh could throw the farthest. The second thing we did was the Frisbee toss. Josh was my partner. Our record was 3 times in a row. The tug of war was the funnest part of it all. But we lost. …Jim, grade 5

Dear Mrs. Zajac,

Field day was a blast. My favorite game was the football game and the frisby thing. My partners for that game were Mary, Josh, and I, Shannon. I liked it because I like tough things. Football is one of my favorite sports too. On the toughing contest I won the first time and JayeLynne won by 1 inch. I also like the game when you would bowl with the softball. The first time I got all but one down. The second time I missed none. It was a good flied day. Thanks!

I thought that Field Day was OK. I liked the Buddy Boards the best because you had to have a lot of teamwork. Crab Soccer was the hardest for me. Another one that I thought was OK was the one you dressed up as a football player and you ran around 4 cones. I also liked the food wagon because you got to eat.
In tug-a-war we were against Mrs. Brown's class and we won! They were kind of hard though. It didn't take us long to get them down. I'm glad we won. ...Paige, grade 4

On Friday we had a Field Day. I had lots of fun. my Favorite game was crab soccer and when we ran on the track field. We got to eat hot dogs and popcorn for free and we got Mountain Dew to drink.
At the end, we played tug of war. It was fun watching and it was fun playing. After Mr. Finan's class and Mrs. Eldridge's class, our class was up. We beat Mrs. Brown's class in about 3 seconds. I hope that next year's field day is as good as this one! ....Levi, grade 4

I think the tug-a-war was really awesome. We really had a great team. Mrs. Brown's team was not easy to beat. We had to pull as much as we could. I can't wait until next years tug-a-war. ...Travis S., grade 4

Field Day was great. The thing I liked best was the track run. I ran two times around the track and got 5 both times. I also liked the football passing. I think this is the best field day ever. I want to thank the P.T.O. and Mrs. Zajac for making this all possible. ...Travis Grade 4
