 Today two members of the PTO came to help us make ornaments. we made reindeer out of light bulbs. With the other ornament we put paint on it. After all the excitement we hung them on hangers. All in all everyone had fun. I wish we could do it again. ...Mary |

Lavender for helping us make ornaments. You had really
good ideas for gifts. It was a lot of fun making the
ornaments, but it was a mess! A lot of people did sponge
painting, including me. I thought it would look cool and
it did! On mine I put green, blue and red paint with gold
sparkles. It looks great. Thank you for helping me with
my bow. I just couldn't get it on my ornament. Thanks!

 First we made a reindeer. We used a light bulb and tied some string to the light bulb. After that we got some paper and got some glue. We had to dip the paper into the glue and stick it on the bulb and keep doing that until it was completely covered. After that we hung it to dry. ...Carmen |
Tomorrow we are going to put the eyes and red nose on the reindeer to make it look like Rudolph. I had a lot of fun. Mrs. Acker and Mrs. Lavender helped us a lot and I hope that they come back and we do it again. ...Jamie

 First I got a light bulb and glued brown paper on it kind of like paper mache. Then we made another one and painted it and put on gold sparkles. ...David F |
My class made ornaments. We had fun
decorating them I made the best one (just kidding). I did
get a lot of good comments. It's just a colorful round
ball with a thing to hang it on a tree. ...David E

 Today we did a project with glue, light bulbs and ornaments. We first put a ribbon on the top of the bulb. Then we got tissue paper and ripped it to peaces. Then we did a second project. ...JayeLynne |
Today we made ornaments by knotting a string around the base of a light bulb and some more stuff. We needed a light bulb, a section of ribbon (about 1 foot) a long piece of brown paper, and a bowl of paper mache. You have to tear the brown paper into segments, glue it on and leave it dry. ...Josh B.
