Sandie writes, "I thought you might enjoy seeing these pictures of Taiwan (a 3 hour flight from Japan) where I was for 4 days this week. It was the end of their Chinese New Year. This picture is just some of the Chinese foods seen at markets...we went to lots of them, but the most fun was at the jade market, where I bought a few things; the last picture is of me and "my rocks" that I picked up along the Pacific coastline of Taiwan...we had been to the Taroka Gorge (made of marble by being on 2 fault lines and then earthquakes happening...spectacular sights).

This picture is of the Gate of Chung Kaishek's Memorial...beautiful lantern displays and lots of entertainment going on there.

Anyway, it is back to work now. Enjoy...
