Classes

Miss Amy read a book called, The Kissing Hand the first week of preschool.  It is a story about Chester the Raccoon who is sad to have to leave his mommy and go off to school.  Thanks to Chester he made our transition into preschool a breeze!

"I like having Chester visit"

This preschooler is happy to have Chester the raccoon visit our room for a week.

Chester the Raccoon comes out of his tree to spend time with a preschooler.

Chester received a lot of hugs during his visit to our room.

“It’s time to clean up.”

A group of preschool children play cooperatively in the block area.

A preschooler demonstrates how many times to turn the handle.

“Look what I made at the Creation Station!”

 “We can sort the blocks!”

We can count at school!

Here is Chester, the star of The Kissing Hand

This preschooler plays the class memory game of matching the pictures of his friends at school.

The preschoolers look together to see which friend picture is under the lid.
