 Very Special Arts Michigan is a state affiliate of Very Special Arts, an international organization promoting the creative power in people with disabilities. VSA was founded in 1974 by Jean Kennedy Smith and is an affiliate of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. Very Special Arts Michigan provides access and opportunity for children and adults with disabilities to grow through the arts.
